wackymom's Blog

All morning Joey has been making references to the 1970's. Things like "I haven't seen this show since the 1970's, mom!"

Finally I said, "What is it with the 1970's, Joe?"

He gave me this look, and says (with a tone that I should KNOW this already)...

"Mom, I was born in a cornfield in the 1970's and woke up in the future!"

WHERE does he come up with this stuff??

Wacky, your child is going to grow up to be someone very, very interesting......

I should take many pictures of him now, and hang onto them for when he is famous!

He probably seen it on a cartoon or tv show. Don't worry the imagination will go away. Then you will miss it.The thing is they really believe what they say.You can't talk 'em down.

Harp, that is what I have always said, too! I love his imagination, it's priceless. He definitely believes what he says, it's so funny!

I'm not worried, Jeanette, I hope it never goes away!

the 'give me' saying I grew up with, was:

'give me got swallowed in a medicine bottle'

to this day; I'm still not sure what that meant?

Unless it was just meant for us to stay out of our parents medicine bottles???
