How many out there think frankie the skunk should have his greasy hide nailed to the barn door? Did you here hizzoner's reply to the Clergy Coalition's recall efforts? He Said, "The city was in a free fall", when he took office. Was that the excuse he used to raid public tax funds to give to his law client Bill Dewitt? Or to discriminate openly against ANYONE that did not actively contribute to his office? What do you think of his proposal to turn some green space downtown into an outdoor modern art display? The next questions are, Which of his contributor's will make money out of this? and , is this even a serious proposal, or like so many other redevelopment plans, just smoke being blown up our ###? What do you all think? truth713

Hey guys, does anyone know when Illinois is going to start building the new bridge?Last I heard ,Francis Slay said, "The deal was dead". I guess when he wasn't going to get his cut of tolls, he threw a tantrum. I am confident that when it comes to progress, the Mayor will march us back with certainty to the 1930'S.:)Truth713

What do you all think about the man , Sergio Gonzales, who ran over the elderly couple in Clayton? Do you think he should just be deported so he can sneak into the US again and run someone else over? By the way, I worked out of Clayton for over 27 years and I am familiar with the intesection of Central and Maryland where he ran over the elderly couple. He said the sun blinded him. Since this happened around lunchtime with the sun overhead, how could he have been blinded by the sun? Was he staring straight up when he drove over them? The only time the sun is an issue is during November and February in the LATE afternoon. I am all for LEGAL immigration. America's diversity is its great strength. But when an illegal sneaks into our country, commits crimes and then is just sent back over the border, it gives every criminal in latin America a clear signal. Come to the US, do whatever you want, and the worst that can happen is you get a free ride home. Does this happen in other countries? I rather doubt it. Truth713

I just watched the Jaco Report. I don't always agree with his opinions, but I enjoy his presentations of important issues. Ever since a certain millionaire came to St. Louis, there has been an almost total news blackout here in the metro area. I hear about important issues affecting St. Louis from out of town relatives. Does this affect St. Louis Media? Are the mainstream media sources showing a significant downturn in ratings? You bet! If TV and radio in St. Louis want more attention(and revenues) they MUST bring the issues we all talk about daily to the forefront. Don't stick Mr. Jaco on at 10:00 pm. ,bring him on earlier. Be competitve with other stations.

Woohoo! Jc hits a grand slam on the screwball proposal to pave over Jefferson Memorial Park. I'm glad we're waking up and telling the emperor he has no clothes on:)St. Louisans know s*** from shinola and we want to keep this riverfront beauty. How many out there remember following the progress of the Arch as it was being built? I remember our class in St. Hedwig's catholic school keeping track of the steadily rising legs of the Arch. And Wow, when the last section went in, we all held our breaths. Don't be confused, Jack Danforth is only the front man for the proposed"development'. We all know whose greedy little paws want to pave over the park.

Well, here we go again. Francis Slay has got another cheesy proposal to line his pockets. He has solicited Jack Danforth to try to grab Federal Parkland (the 91 acres surrounding the Arch) for fast food restaurants and venues owned by the Mayor or his cronies. If the sleaseball mayor devoted one tenth of his efforts to improving St Louis that he uses to try to destroy green spaces, the city would be one of the best places in the country to live. The catch is, that he has to come up with some sort of proof that St Louisans back his scam. What would you like to see, tree lined walks and quiet reflecting ponds or Jack in the Box's tasteful red and white motif crowned with the big Jack head? Why not a Hooters with girls in short shorts wandering through the park area? How will the mayor manufacture support? Will he get his cronies to sign some petiton that they will financially gain from? Come on! He said the jewel of the St. Louis riverfront is "an embarrassment". Maybe he's hoping it will be an embarrassment of riches for him. Others have tried to build on national Parkland only to be defeated over and over again. Francis is in a rush because after the 2008 elections his patron Bill DeWitt won't have the influence to back francis like he has with the ballpark.Hurry Frankie, the Republicans are leaving and the Democrats dont like a Republican in Democrat's clothing.

The only reason why Frankie wants control of the St. Louis school board is to award lucrative school contracts to his wealthy law clients. Once he has done this, his interest in the failing school system will disappear. I wonder why the local FBI hasn't tried a sting operation on him. Influence peddling would be very easy to prove. He leaves a paper trail a blind man could follow. I would think any media source that supports his type of activity would be in danger of losing their FCC license and be liable for criminal prosecution, especially under the current Democrat controlled congress. He is the worst mayor in St. Louis history and we all look forward to the day when he is led up the Federal court house steps in handcuffs.
