Just to take you away from the political stuff for awhile I was wondering about something I've noticed. Here, in this town, there are a lot of people that put all this junk in their front yards, and I mean junk (in my opinion). What makes someone put various and sundry pots with all kinds of plants without any design at all, or arrangement, but so many you can't count them, then add figures, animals, other yard ornaments, to the degree you couldn't walk in that yard if you wanted to!! It is so packed with this junk its ridiculous! Do people really think that looks good or is attractive? First is the little wall about 1 foot high, then on top of that wall are these little cement animals all in a row going up and down the entire length of this wall, then behind that are the many, many plants in all kinds of pots in all kinds of shape and description, and color, then cement figures, then to the side is a tractor tire (one of the really big ones, not a car tire) that has been cut open to form a 'flower', painted white, then plants on the inside of that!!! Now, the space between this house and the one next to it is beginning to be filled up, too. I don't get it! Maybe there is something wrong here, I don't know, but for the life of me I cannot figure out why someone would do this. Well, I suppose they think its wonderful, but I am VERY happy my house is not next to, or near, theirs. Can you imagine trying to sell a house next to this? Or much less buy one? And,there is one right next door to this house that is for sale. It's a really cut, newly rehabbed house, and it just sits there, empty, with everyone passing it by! I'm just wondering why anyone would decorate a yard in this fashion, oh I forgot the artificial flowers!! Big plastic, vinyl, etc. ones, of all kinds, sunflowers, roses, daisies, etc. then, in the middle of all this mess is the flag!!! All of this stuff goes from the front yard all the way up to the front porch.It really is pretty gross in my book. there is another house that has so many flowers in the front in pots, and in the back,too, they cover the entire front porch and the entire back deck! Looks like they raided a funeral home, or several!!! You can't even see the steps!!! Just thought I would ask if you know anyone like this, and then explain why they do it!!! Nothing else to do with their life maybe? Just askin'!!!
