Wasps and Ticks and Snakes, Oh my!

Well, I guess my walks in the woods are about done until Fall.   Every insect in the bi-state area has it's sights set on me.  I guess it's because I'm so sweet. (uh-huh, right)

I had ticks galore crawling up my pant legs yesterday (GAG!) and the wasps/bees/scary buzzing things were giving me fly-bys every few minutes. 

I don't mind bugs and snakes, as long as they mind their own business!  Somehow, they think their business is scaring the BOOGEDY out of me!

It's a good thing I have no close neighbors who could see what a strange person I am.  When the wasps start trying to build their nests on the eaves of my house and under the deck rail, I grab my RAID and assume a ninja stance.  That is, until one of those nasties buzzes my head, then I screech, jump and run like the sissy I am.

I think I'm ready for the first FREEZE of Fall.  LOL

me tooooo jay! i freakin hate bugs! if theres one skeeter outside, it WILL land on me! yesterday i was itchin from skeeter bites and ivy, im sick of it!

I don't mind them for the weather we are having. But I do think the ticks are worse this year. I have had 2 already and haven't gotten a tick in 3 years. But our stray dog population has grown also.That goodness I haven't seen a snake yet.Truman has on the road. But I will take this to a freeze anytime bugs and all.Just a tick bite no skeeter yet.

OMG I love bugs snakes and even turttles and lizerds...I am not scared of any of them and never run from any of them...

Now mom on the other hand will run from all of it no matter what..Gee if you show her a dead bug she freakes out big time..

All I can say is NEVER walk behind her because if she see anything she will run for her life and if you are in her way she will nknock you down...

So remember NEVER walk behind my mom!!!

What's wrong with bugs?? It's not like they will kill you, except maybe the black widow spider.

As far as the bees and wasps, if you leave them alone, they will leave you alone. NOT.

AHHHHHHHHHH quick complaining and enjoy the nice warm weather. We sure are. Bugs or no bugs.

LOL! This was the funniest blog today! I would love to see that Ninja stance! I have seen people get undress when a bug fell down their shirt! Ha Ha......I'm the same way!

Yep..the ticks are out in full force...maybe more than ever! To the blogger who only had 2 ticks....thats nothing....bet i picked over 30 off of myself yesterday. Been working on a new end of fence....wish the little buggers could drive fence post. Even saw a snake or two...goes with the season..but oh so green again!

Speaking of bugs...as I was getting into the shower this morning I noticed there was this HUMONGOUS waterbug in my bathtub! Now my bathtub isn't very big so I said hey...it's Friday and I'm in a good mood so why don't YOU go first Mr. Waterbug! I quickly turned on the hot water and gave him a nice HOT shower. Shortly afterwards it appeared as though he was so relaxed that, I think he went to sleep! I was afraid I'd startle him if I turned off the water so I continued to run the shower on him until he floated back down the drain from which he came. My turn!!!
