Hello, its Shannon...hope you have forgotten me. My computer has been giving me so many problems. It pretty much works when it wants to....like now..haha. So, how many times do you think it takes locking your keys somewhere before you get it through your head to make a spare set? Well, for me 4. I locked myself out of my house 3 times this summer and I thought then, I wouldn't do it anymore. I should have known better. It happened again today.  Except this time, it wasnt my house I had locked my keys in, it was the truck.  I was leaving Wal-Mart today and it was raining and cold, as you all know, so i thought I would start the truck, then put the bags in. I managed to start the truck, but forgot that when you do, the doors automaticaly lock....and they did. My purse was in there and the truck was running and now the doors are locked. GREAT!!!!  "Joe is gonna kill me." I ran back into Wal-Mart and called Joe, preparing for a lecture. Needless to say, he said, "OMG Shannon, again?"  He was on his way to save my day.

 Now I have 3 keys for everything, I just have to remember to not bring them in the house.

After my son had miss all last week of school, we go to the bus stop today to find out that 2 different cars have been trying to talk kids into going with them in my neighborhood. The police have been following the bus or riding in front of it throughout the whole bus route, making sure this does not happen. One of the cars was a white 4 door and the other a maroon color car, that's all I know about the cars. The police were called about both of them being at the bus stops when they have no reason to be. Both men in the cars. This is why I walk my son to his bus stop and stay there until he gets on and I am at the bus stop before it even gets there, to make sure Im there to get him off the bus.

I cannot stress enough, that not having a plan or not being there to get them off and on, is giving these people the perfect opportunity to take your child.  Please keep a close eye on your children at all times.

Im back!!!!  I was missin in action for a couple weeks with pneumonia, but Im almost 100% now. My son also got sick. We had to take him to the hospital last week, he was dehydrated. Scared me!!  They ran test on him and found out he has pneumonia as well as the Flu, poor guy. Hes doin alot better now. I missed alot of fun stuff you all, my friends have planned, but Im back and kickin now..ready to party! Hope to see you all soon. Missed you guys!

I have decided that July is not my favorite month, by a long shot.  I have to run around  to get my son registared for school, and by school supplies, which is another story all to its self. Going to the store is crazy! I can never find the certain notebook they want him to have. People just butting in front of you tryin to grab the last box of crayons. And the glue sticks..what ever happened to the bottle of Elmers glue, its like thats not good enough, we need a glue stick. My sons Kindergarten list was twice as long as his 1st grade list is this year. You would think they would need more as they learn. I am loving the no tax thing though..thats great!

My next issue in July is...registering my car...lol...Cant we push that up to 5 yrs..instead of the 2. This is the last year I have to get Emissions, WOO HOO..Im so excited and for the ones that have to have it done still, atleast you can get it and the inspection at the same place..thats great! I never have any problems with emissions, but inspection is diff. Seems like its always something. This year, I was missing a lugnut on my wheel. What I wanna know is...who in the heck took it!?! That was $5..for a lugnut, and HAD to be put on b4 they would pass it....OMG..can you give a girl a break!! Suprisinly, the DOR wasnt busy and when I walked out the door with my stickers...I jumped up and said...YAY, Im done!! Untill 2009.

HI, all my bloggin friends!!  I have been missing in action for a while, but Im back now. I have been busy..not to say none of you are busy. Just had alot going on. Marcus had pheumonia, then a death in the family...and the never-ending issue...my car....lol. Im all good now though.

I have been using my FOX2 Chap Stick all summer..I Luv the stuff, so POB, if you can hear me...hook a girl up!!!!

Ok, so we could reach $4 for gas...thats just crazy...I guess alot of people will be staying home this summer..not me..Im a rebel..lol

Ok..so the weekend started off great..goint o a sleepover with my Girls!  We are a bunch of crazy girls, that know how to have fun. Everything from drinks, food, pinatta's, kewl cups and NICE STRAWS..haha! Everyone was dancing, singing, taping, and ofcourse drinking. Then we started taking silly picts on the floor...which is when I managed to scratch my eye..yes. Have contacts, something got underneath and scratch my eye. My eye was so bloodshot and watering like crazy..I couldnt even open it. Then got a horrible headache, that I could not get rid of..so I went to bed...aww.  BUT..I didnt throw up..woo hoo!! 

Sat. got home, my eye was a lil better, but out of the blue, my eye started to hurt again, was red and watering again. Couldnt see the rest of the day, out of that eye. Sun. I can finally put in my contact and its not hurting as bad, but still sensitive to light.

I know my eyes are very important, and take good care of them..but when that happened to my eye, it was one of the worst pains I've felt..just becuz it was my eye. Take care of them!

O.K., I know people love their animals like they were their children...but sometimes we get a little carried away.

My family and I were taking a drive through South Co. one day. As we turned a corner I noticed a young couple pushing a stroller, and I said, " aww, a baby!" So as we drive past them, I looked in the stroller, wanting to see the baby (becuz, they are so cute), and when I looked in there...It was a CAT....YES, A CAT!!!! I couldn't believe it. I looked at Joe and said, " they are pushing a cat in that stroller!" He said, "no way" and just started laughing.

Now..I've seen people walk all kinds of animals...On Leashes. Pushing them in strollers is a little too much. That is what I think, anyway.
