...Curious to see how everyone feels the results will turn out in the end.

I think that ultimately, Obama will claim the victory. It's not a given, but if things continue as they are I'm fairly confident of an Obama victory. He has a slight lead in current polls against McCain and I think that if anything changes, the gap will only continue to widen in Obama's favor.

The GOP seems to only half heartedly support McCain and I feel he's lost much of the "maverick" credibility he once had. He's not the guy he was in 2000. Especially when it comes to Iraq; I have a hard time making any distinguishment between him and Bush. Certainly, voters will also have a difficult time drawing this distinction and given Bush's unpopularity, I think McCain's stance on Iraq, tax cuts, etc. are gonna hurt the man. I also feel his age will damage him. I don't think his age should be used against him b/c he still seems as sharp as ever and physically healthy. But realistically speaking, it's going to play a factor whether it's fair or not.

Obama seems to have all the momentum, enthusiasm and the charisma that McCain lacks. He seems almost unstoppable. I can hardly think of a more inspiring and captivating speaker. He's making history and voters are going to want to participate in all the excitement surrounding his candidacy. This is his race to lose. For me the question is how much he will win by. The wider the margin, the more political capital Obama will have to cash in on. He has the potential to make a lot of change and push through a substantial amount of legislation.

I could see a wide margin of victory. But i'm no psychic, i could be wrong.

What's your opinon? I'm eager to hear about it...
