 Everyone at FOX 2 has Back To The Future on their minds.  Our FOX 2 Assignment Desk Editor, Chris Pilcic, has a 1982 DeLorean. We took a grand tour of the car today...and folks couldn't get enough.

that is cool....would love to take a ride in it! ...and remember it did need gas but in the future it fed on trash. It needed the special stuff to fly into the future....what was THAT called? anyone remember?

Very nice.....whats the gas mileage on it?

if i recalled corectly the delorean has a stainless steel body and was made in ireland

I just asked for you, and Chris says his DeLorean gets about 25 mpg. And yes, it's all stainless steel...like the Arch.

Pretty cool. Wouldn't it be nice if cars ran on trash. It would kill 2 birds with one stone. Actually 3 because the economy would be better.

I believe a company in Houston still builds DeLoreans out of stock parts and re-builds old ones...for like $25,000......

Can remember the scandal when John DeLorean was arrested for drug trafficking and the DeLorean Motor Company went bankrupt back in the early '80s...really neat car, though!

crickyann; DeLorean was arrested but found innocent on all charges...this was a factor in the bankruptcy...he never served any time...

Wow what a car and yes it would be neat if all our cars used trash then we wouldn't have to be dependent on foreign oil.
