We thank every one of you for taking time to blog/comment about the weather and help make the myFOX community the best it can be. I'm putting out a reminder about a few features on the site to help you through the storm:

WEATHER BUFFET
You hear us saying it, and now's a good time to do it: Bookmark the Weather Buffet! It has everything you need to get through the storm.  We love it, and we want you to use it.

LIVE DIGITAL DOPPLER XT2 RADAR FEED
We have our live doppler radar feed online. Not just screenshots of the radar, but the real deal. It will run LIVE 24/7/365 on this page. NOTE: We also share this link with SkyFOX, so when SkyFOX is over breaking news, we interrupt it.

INTERACTIVE WINTER WEATHER MAP
Our online weather tools are the best in this city! You can zoom in on a Google map that shows street level weather conditions. It's an amazing tool, and you should spend some time here. Click here to play.

SEVERE WATCHES AND WARNINGS TICKER
See the latest from the National Weather Service, including winter storm watches and warnings. This ticker feed updates constantly.

SHARE YOUR STORY
Start your own blog and share your story with all of St. Louis. We created the blogs just for you, and you'll be surprised at how many people like to leave comments.

TAKE PICTURES!
Get out your camera! We wanna see snow everywhere in our photo gallery. Snowflakes, sled riding, snowfall measuring sticks, snow angels, snowmen, frozen tongues, your favorite ice scraper. If you snap it, we want it! Please send as many pics as you can. You may even see them on our broadcast!

REPORT SNOWFALL
Meteorologist Chris Higgins gives you tips on how to measure snowfall, and there's a form where you can tell us the amount! This really helps out the weather team, especially when it's coming down quickly! Click here for that page.

SCHOOL WATCH CLOSINGS
Here's a link to the school watch page. We update it every 2 minutes, 24 hours a day.

Thanks everyone, now go get your bread, milk, and eggs and blog away! Don't be shy about leaving comments! The community is here for you!

Im in imperial with the new inch and a half of snow. I have also been talking to someone in fenton who is experiencing intense snow fall. They told me that they have not seen it coming down this hard in years, they said about 3 inch per hour snow fall rates. I dont know when that intense snow fall started but it is currently happeing now. They said they had about 2 inches before the start of this and now they just measured and have 5.5 inches.

Patrick, we're snowed in in Valley Park. No one can make it up our hill. Can you swing by Schnucks and slide us some bread and milk down the hill, lol.

Well, each time I see snow, I think more of Christmas. But the downside to it that here in St. Louis, many Missouri drivers don't make good decisions on driving in snow. My father darted up to Schnucks to buy groceries before the weather got even worse. With this type of weather, I feel safer with Call-a-Ride because my eyes don't seem to cooperate at night after a snow.

MODOT, WHERE ARE YOU?? We drive 32 miles west on 64/40 tonight from 7:45 - 9:00pm coming home from work at Barnes-Jewish and NEVER SAW ONE SNOW PLOW. YOU SAID YOU WERE OUT THERE BUT MUST HAVE BEEN IN YOUR STEALTH MODE. NONE OF THE STREETS HAVE BEEN TOUCHED.

We measured the snowfall here in Florissant about 9pm and got a reading of 7 inches. We measured from several different areas... untouched sidewalk, the top of a cold car that hadn't moved since yesterday afternoon, and also in the middle of the yard. All of the readings showed about 7 inches and it is still snowing here. I'll post another reading later tonight when the storm has passed.

Has anyone driven Hwy 70 from the airport to O'Fallon, Mo today? I am sitting in a Dallas hotel (supposed to be sunny and 50 today here), but am flying home with my daughter this evening to O'Fallon. I get a little "wiggly" when it comes to driving in the snow/ice. Just hoping the highway will be in better condition this evening than yesterday!

I got a few good pictures of Deer in the snow. I have lived here in the city limits of Bourbon for 7 years and We saw our first deer in our yard very early this morning. They hung around until the sun came up. I was surprised to see them in town with all the commotion. I quess they got really hungry and wanted to munch on our few spots of grass. :^)

I have to agree with bjmac about 64/40 last night. I was also headed home after working a 12 hour shift at a hospital and the roads were horrible!! MODOT, YOU ARE NOTHING BUT "AMATEURS" when it comes to cleaning roadways during a "snowfall"! This wasn't even a real snow storm!! I use to live way north of St. Louis and the road crews knew how to take care of them. So MODOT send your crews north to take some lessons - otherwise this could be a very long winter for all of us!!!!!!!!!!!
