How many anglers have snuck in your pond.....??

phisingcopy.jpg No Phishing image by drewelite

Wow I spent the evening downloading Norton 2008 and it went to work almost immediately..... It found 35 tracking cookies plus some other assorted spyware that needed to get out of my pond...... It's funny that when I first heard the word Phishing, I had to look it up to  see what it meant... It makes so much sense when you think about it...    There are several websites where you can go and look up the meanings of computer terms.......  So far I am very happy with the 2008 version..... It has posted a guard to keep any new angler out so my pond might not get phished out....... Had a virus once and don't ever want to go through that again......

Yes indeed blogs can be the worst. They target the most trafficked sites thus blogs being one of them. Don't forget about Ebay - lots of people there and many little cling-ons. Nice to know you are clean of your virus.

Well you are never clean.... It's an ongoing battle..... Computer nerd vs computer nerd.... Hackers are always coming up with something new and the computer guys at Norton finding the new and destroying........

The 2008 download is great though..... It has Identity protection cards also so I can encrypt my info.......

I've just recently put Norton '08 on mine too. So far I'm well pleased. I did have Norton 360.....OMG, did that ever slow things down. It ran back-ups on every single thing, and pretty soon my hard drive was full! I will never get that one again!

Well I have Norton on my laptop and love it but on my desktop computer it needs upgraded and I still have windows 98 on it and it has Avast on it. I like Avast so far but wish my computer was updated so I could get Norton. I just don't have a new program and can't afford it right now. I need more memory before I can upgrade it.
