He had to go and fire Pujols up..... Thanks..!!!

(newser) – Albert Pujols hit his first two homers of the year and the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Houston Astros 6-4 on Wednesday night to take their third straight series. Pujols also had an RBI-single and Rick Ankiel added two RBIs. Pujols ended the longest home run drought to start the year in his career, hitting two in his ninth game. 

Do you think Lidge was really thinking about the welfare of his catcher or is he just a sore loser that has not gotten over the fact that Pujols made him look like a tee baller on a couple of occasions..... Mr Lidge is starting to remind me of Kenny Rogers.... Another baby in the game.......

Do you think the apology was enough.......??

"My bad" I didn't hear all the story.So really I don't know what the apology was even far or what even happened for Pujol's to have to apologize. Guess I need to read the story.Nah, don't think I will.probably will see it on the new's.

I would like to get a transcript as what was said when the two had words.....
I don't think Albert was intentionally trying to take their catcher out.... I have be hit much harder than that when I was a catcher and I held no grudge.....
Lidge just showed his true colors even after Albert called the Astro clubhouse and said he was sorry......

St Louis will boo him out of the park when he comes here.....

Brad Lidge is the closer for the Phillies now, what does he have to do with what happened in Houston....Wasn't it Brandon Backe who barked at AP, or am I missing something?

Your right it was Backe....... My mind is failing me..... So I guess he gets the win for he fired Pujols up but good..... Backe hates Pujols with a passion also.........

I cant go back and edit in the right name either for it has been locked in...... Most of this love hate relationship came from when Lidge was pitching though...... They just can't stand to be showed up.....

Just call me grampa today....

Yep, Pujols owns him also...He 3 for 10 with three homeruns off him. Why in the world would Backe want to make him mad?
