Bathroom: Women vs Men

It seems to amaze me the difference between a man and a woman when it comes to the bathroom.

Why is it that a woman can go in and get the job done, come back out and resume whatever she was doing within a matter of a few minutes? 

Whereas a man will go in and spend 20 or more minutes doing the same thing? Plus the prep time it takes BEFORE he goes in.. finding the right book to read, finding everyone to announce that he'll be back later, etc. Its like a durn vacation to them!

There is also a thing called bathroom etiquette. I have taught ALL the boys in our household to put the seat down BUT..are there other things that bother you about the male species and the bathroom??

Why is it that when dad is in the bathroom, all the kids stay away yet when mom is in there, they seem to all form a line outside the door, open the door and start saying, "Its my turn" "I gotta go" "Hey mom" "Mom, can I..."..etc,etc. Then dad comes in too.."hey honey.."

We have no private times in the bathroom! Its like a gathering place when a mom is in there..

I worked at a gas station for 15yrs....and I can tell you WOMEN are MUCH nastier than men!
So; however long it takes them...is fine by me...long as I don't have a mess to clean up after!

Its sad but true, Suz. But when you have 2 little boys and a grown boy all doing the same thing with the books, etc. It makes for a loooong day!
Thank goodness we have 2 bathrooms..maybe we should go ahead and finish that 3rd bathroom..LOL

you know, most men may be in the bathroom for 20 min. BUT, MOST women are in there for at least an hour just to get cleaned up to go somewhere

"like it or lump it"...I always liked that saying.

I start each and every morning with Fox 2...and the kiddos know that Cartoons do NOT come on till mom watches Channel 2 news. Channel 2 is the start of EVERY morning for me and it's what jump starts my day. THANKS!! The whole news cast is a hoot!! ~Misty~
