I blame mr_wildflower and decici68 for this idea!  Hey! Had to blame someone.

What cartoon characters would make the best Prez and Veep?

I say Snoopy and Charlie Brown.

The current president is bozo or even Elmer Fudd. I don't know what type of character would fit our next presidential team of McCain and Palin?

Biker, it would have to be Wile Coyote and the Roadrunner.
That is Foghorn Leghorn and the chicken hawk.

You are more than welcome, it was an honor and a priveledge.
My start in music was way back when I was in grade school. Played the tuba, I was the only one big enough to hold it! I tell ya, I do enjoy teaching music! To see a kid get what I am showing them is like magic. I teach mostly classical guitar at Webster U's community music school. It is where low income families can afford to send their kids, although not all of our students are low income. We do have a excellent reputation in the community.
What do you're kids play? Are they enjoying it?
All three of mine were also in band. I do believe it gives kids a sense of well being.
Like that, Rosie and Ellen. Watch out though, a certain blogger named Dino hates Rosie O!

My son plays the Trumpet and guitar, and he loves it he had the great honor of be asked last year to play echo taps at JB.
My daughter plays the alto sax and the piano and she wants to attend Juillard, and its funny because just last week I was speaking to their band instructer about her piano and he suggested I call Webster and get my daughter enrolled there. The piano teacher she has now is good but not at the level my daughter will need to get into Juillard. I told her that Juillard was not the only school of music out there, but that is were her heart is.

Mech - I played the tuba in grade and all the way thru high school - not too many of us umph pa pa's around. I played a solo and took first place in grade school - I also went to Washington U every weekend to study music theory - it was free for the kids in the school band. I could not have afforded it as we were poorer than a church mouse.

Never worry about spelling on my account. I have to go back and correct myself all the time. Fat fingers.
Juilliard may not be the only school, but it is the best IMO. And yes, not to sound to egotistical, we have some of the best teachers around. I walk in and hear them practicing and am amazed! You should hear some of the pick up bands we have.
SC, I liked playing the tuba. Big big bass sound. Same here, I went to Webster though, free for us also. My pops was teaching banjo there at that time as part of the community school. He still picks a mean one. My whole family has played or sang at one time or another. Hey! Cheap entertainment or the family that plays together stays together. I so wanted to play in the USAF band tried out and made it into the band but then war broke out in '91. Things happen.

I just stumbled across this and thought it was a cool post.

I'd pick Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck....

because Bugs is so clever, nobody ever gets the best of him, and he always comes out on top.

because Daffy never gives up no matter what.

and because the two of them make such a great team.

Hey thanks! Just a bit of levity you know.
Yeah, bugs and daffy would be good choices.
Always liked looney tunes, grew up with them don't ya know.
How about Elmer Fudd as secretary of de-fence.
Be vewy vewy quite. I'm hunting tewwowists!
