The latest is more likely then not, the trial will be thrown out of court today. Why? It is being reported that a case has not been made that Lori open the Josh Evans myspace account. Well then, can someone please clear up who opened the account?? Let me guess, it was their dog. What crap. What message are we sending out, if indeed the trial is thrown out? Exactly.

The holiday season is all about family, and while it's also about
welcoming others to the table, I think most people look forward to
being home every November. Married couples are often forced to
alternate holidays if both families can't be together. But what about
when you're in a serious relationship, just not married? Is spending
Thanksgiving with your significant other (extended family included) a do or a don't? Please explain.

What has happened to good, I mean really good customer service?  I went to Subway in the St. Louis Metro area and it was bad from the get go.  First there were only two boys on and they both felt they had to help the customer a head of me.  Gees, last time I checked or was in any Subway besides this one, only one worker helped a customer even with multiple orders.  Then once they were both done with that customer the one of them went behind "closed doors" and I was only waited on by one kid, fine, perfect with me.  That was until the customer who was a head of me got up from his table and wanted something additional, only for the boy helping me to stop my order and go back and assit him.  I can forgive all of the above, although I draw the line when I am being helped and the worker is texting right in front of me, as though I wouldn't/couldn't notice.  Are you kidding me?  As I said, that is where I draw the line.

Please tell me your horror or I hope positive customer service story.

People Magazine released today, their take on the Sexiest Man Alive 2008, have a look HERE.  Once you have, please leave your thoughts.  In my opinion, this is not one of their better years.  Also be sure to check out the World's Sexiest Fathers...HERE
I think they did a much better job at selecting the fathers vs. the men.

I am sure by now you have all heard the story behind this picture/gal.  If not, go HERE.
Please provide your feedback....Is this a photoshop job?  Makeup?  What do you think?
I will tell you I was watching Fox 2 with my 14 yr old son, when they aired this story in the 6am hour.  My feeling and his as well was, it is a very bad make up job.  For instance her eye should not still be white and if it were real, it wouldn't just be at the bottom of her eye.  Just to name one flaw of many in the photo......

As we all slept last night, the verdict in the OJ Simpson Vegas trail came in.  The jury deliberated for 13 hrs in total and as odd as this is the verdict came in 13 yrs to the day of his most famous trial regarding his wife.  At that time the jury deliberated for 15 hrs in total.
OJ Simpson was found GUILTY on all 12 charges this go around. He will be back in court on Dec. 5.  At the very least  he will spend 15-20 years behind bars.
Do you think the jury was fair?  Do you think they took the Nicole trail into consideration when deliberating?
I for one, and happy it has all finally come to an end.  I do feel sorry for his children.
You can read the full story HERE if you are interested.

The title alone is fantastic.  Granted this happened in CA, however I wanted to get others opinions on this story.  So the short of it is, this 86 yr old man was riding his bike on the wrong side of the road and was struck by an SUV.  Full story here.  My feeling is this....regardless where he was riding his bike, the SUV is 100% at fault.  Why?  It is the responsibility of the operator of a motorize vehicle to watch what is going on around them 100% of the time.  Besides that, Walkers, Joggers, runners, cyclist always have the right of way.

What is your feeling?

I would like to hear how you all feel about the whole McCain/Palin ticket and the latest news of Palin's 17 yr old daughter being 5 mo pregnant?.

I feel it is very big and just goes to show that Obama is the one who should rule our country.  Obama has released today that "Let me be as clear as possible," Obama said. "I think people's families are off-limits, and people's children are especially off-limits." when it comes to campaigning.

Your thoughts/comments please.

It has been a few weeks now and John Brown moved from the evening hour to the AM hour.  I am guessing to replace Shawn Lindsay.  Does anyone know this to be true and if so, where did she "run away" to?

This came to mind since "super Tuesday" is just a little over a day away.  Whats the deal with the volunteer's handing out fliers as we approach the polling door?  I don't know about you, but if I don't know who I'm voting for by the time I reach the door, then I have no business being there.  I will admit that in the past I have taken some of the fliers to be kind, but no longer do, because all I do is pitch them.  Is it just me, or are the volunteer's rude if you ignore them or pick and choose your fliers.

What do you do??  How do you handle this??

Can someone please help me.  I am wondering why it is we celebrate DR. Martin Luther Kings Jr.'s Bday today.  Let me explain more.  All other holidays ie Presidents day and such have a significance on the day we celebrate them, whereas DR. MLK day does not have significance to this day.  It is not his birthday, the day he gave the speech, and it is not the day of his death.  I was just wondering why we celebrate it in February and not later in the year.

I encourage everyone to give their EOB or explanation of Benefits or medical bill a second over.  Thank goodness I did.  It happened to me twice and my boyfriend once.  But because I was on top of it, it was corrected.  Granted I had to apply pressure (nicely) but it was corrected.  Two doctors we will not be seeing again, although one went out of business.  Gee's I wonder why.

This article was emailed to me.  It is very important that you read it as well.  It is courtsey of MSNBC. The header reads: "Medical Bill errors becoming more common".

I am a mother to 1 son, an 8th grader. My longtime boyfriend and I love to take our Tandem out and see the world. I am a news junkie. I wake up, and go to bed every night with Fox 2. I Love Kevin Steincross and the entire morning crew. Mandy Murphy makes the evening edition a true pleasure. When in my car I listen to 102.5 & 106.5. My favorite movie is: Love Actually. The runner ups: 1. Office Space 2. Saw 1, 2, 3 3. Crank 4. Fried Green Tomatoes 5. Alpha Dog Target is the only place to shop!!! **Remember when ever you are on a bike, motorized or not, put on a helmet. Your arm(s) & leg(s) will heal, but what about the most important part of your body...head??? Food for thought.
