As we all slept last night, the verdict in the OJ Simpson Vegas trail came in. The jury deliberated for 13 hrs in total and as odd as this is the verdict came in 13 yrs to the day of his most famous trial regarding his wife. At that time the jury deliberated for 15 hrs in total.
OJ Simpson was found GUILTY on all 12 charges this go around. He will be back in court on Dec. 5. At the very least he will spend 15-20 years behind bars.
Do you think the jury was fair? Do you think they took the Nicole trail into consideration when deliberating?
I for one, and happy it has all finally come to an end. I do feel sorry for his children.

The
title alone is fantastic. Granted this happened in CA, however I wanted to get others opinions on this story. So the short of it is, this 86 yr old man
was riding his bike on the wrong side of the road and was struck by an
SUV. Full story here.
My feeling is this....regardless where he was riding his bike, the SUV
is 100% at fault. Why? It is the responsibility of the operator of a
motorize vehicle to watch what is going on around them 100% of the
time. Besides that, Walkers, Joggers, runners, cyclist always have the right of way.
What is your feeling?

I would like to hear how you all feel about the whole McCain/Palin ticket and the latest news of Palin's 17 yr old daughter being 5 mo pregnant?.
I feel it is very big and just goes to show that Obama is the one who should rule our country. Obama has released today that "Let me be as clear as possible," Obama said. "I think people's families are off-limits, and people's children are especially off-limits." when it comes to campaigning.
Your thoughts/comments please.

It has been a few weeks now and John Brown moved from the evening hour to the AM hour. I am guessing to replace Shawn Lindsay. Does anyone know this to be true and if so, where did she "run away" to?

This came to mind since "super Tuesday" is just a little over a day away. Whats the deal with the volunteer's handing out fliers as we approach the polling door? I don't know about you, but if I don't know who I'm voting for by the time I reach the door, then I have no business being there. I will admit that in the past I have taken some of the fliers to be kind, but no longer do, because all I do is pitch them. Is it just me, or are the volunteer's rude if you ignore them or pick and choose your fliers.
What do you do?? How do you handle this??

Can someone please help me. I am wondering why it is we celebrate DR. Martin Luther Kings Jr.'s Bday today. Let me explain more. All other holidays ie Presidents day and such have a significance on the day we celebrate them, whereas DR. MLK day does not have significance to this day. It is not his birthday, the day he gave the speech, and it is not the day of his death. I was just wondering why we celebrate it in February and not later in the year.

I encourage everyone to give their EOB or explanation of Benefits or medical bill a second over. Thank goodness I did. It happened to me twice and my boyfriend once. But because I was on top of it, it was corrected. Granted I had to apply pressure (nicely) but it was corrected. Two doctors we will not be seeing again, although one went out of business. Gee's I wonder why.
This article was emailed to me. It is very important that you read it as well. It is courtsey of MSNBC. The header reads: "Medical Bill errors becoming more common".

No Charges Filed Against Parents In Wash U Baby Death Case
Circuit
Attorney Jennifer M. Joyce announced Tuesday that she has made a
decision regarding the case of baby Sophia Kuntsen. “While the parents
of this baby demonstrated questionable parenting and communication
skills on that day, I do not have enough evidence to prove ‘criminal
negligence’ beyond a reasonable doubt, and that is the legal threshold
for charging this crime,” says Joyce.
Stay tuned to FOX 2 and myFOXstl.com for more details.
This decision makes me sick. If these parents get off, so should the day care worker. If we go off the reason the parents are not charged.

As you can guess, I truly enjoy the bike. And when searching the net, I came across this truly awesome site. The short of it: a newly married couple are taking 2 yrs to travel the entire 50 by Tandem Bicycle. This warms my heart and I hope it does the same for you. I wish I had the time, $$$ and where with all to embark on such an adventure.

So I was on my commute home from work when I was behind a car with the license plate GTBEER. The male driver didn't look a day over 17. It is very clear what the license plate is to spell out. What is the deal? You only have to be 16 to get a drivers license and depending on your family situation you either purchase your own car, or get a hand me down that becomes yours. It is obvious that the young male behind the wheel lives for beer. What parent in their right mind would allow their child to get this for their plate?!! As a parent trying to raise a child in this day and age, I find it very inappropriate for the DMV to allow someone under legal drinking age to get a personalized plate as such.
What is your take on it??

What does everyone think of Drew Carey filling the shoes of Bob Barker? Myself, I think they should have gone with someone else. Ian Ziering who was being considered was a good choice. Ian is a good guy, Drew on the other hand, I do not feel will offer that warm fuzzy feeling to cover the various age generations that watch the Price Is Right.
