Jesu was a very intolerant.He said that only those who believe in Him enherit the kingdom of God. He said homsexual offenders will not inherit the kingdom of God. His word says not to worship false gods(i.e. allah) or angels which are to be our servants. My goodness, Jesus was not very politically correct was He? I wonder who is right God or Oprah? mmmmm......! confucious(sp), budda, ancestor worship, hiduism, or any of the myriad little man made gods(small g) of this world..now before i sighn off for today, i bet someone will ask does this belong in the political section? the politics of those other relgion are discussed in this section and they are false, so please let the TRUE ONE in. mike meyer-mtvernon il.

When will we realize that biofuels are btoo costly to use? Basic economics says that that if you increase demand for a product or service and do not increase the supply the price goes up.The demand for corn and soybeans for bio-fuels has increased the demand , therfore the price will go up. simple logic, right? Apparently no. After yaers of promoting green fuel, the U.N.(utturely nogood) has declared the allocating those commodities to be "immorral" because it has caused the price of food to go up beyond the means of a lot of people, DUH! Food is beinf taken out of the mouths of people and put into gas tanks. Now before the enviormentental nazis start thier whining let me say this, here on this earth there are no perfect solutions to any problem. Hydrogen powered vehicles will be viable in the near future, but the distribution system will take decades to put in place. so for now oil is our only viable answer.The regulations are in place that make drilling reletively safe. So let's drill where we know the oil is. off the coasts of California and Florida and Alaska, it is in our nations best intrest to do so. As for the "Global Warming" are we so anamored of our superiority as humans that we dare think that we small insects can cause a "Global" climate change? The real reason for "Global Warming" is found in God's Word and i quote Luke 21;25 "Ther will be sighns in the sun, moon and stars.On the earth, the nation will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and the tossing of the sea"- mike meyer ,mt vernon il.

Being a life-long observer of Illinois (never a dull moment there) i feel it is time to comment on a couple things. This state will never get anything done while Chicago and Cook county is a part of our state. why? because because of the unfair influence of Chicago poltics. It is a cancer that is eating away at our state.We now have the least qulified candidate for President we have ever had- Obama. The only thing he is qualified to lead is maybe a Chicago Boy Scout troop.Chicago politics elected him not the souther two thirds of our state.We now need to start a grass roots campaighn to make Chicago and Cook county a seperate state. I vote for the state of Obama. 2nd. A law should be passed requiring the Governor to live in state capital of Chicago but the real one in Springfeild.who care if the Governor's wife doesnt like it there. another celebrity has been caught abusing dogs ,the rapper dmx everybody is up in arms,but where is the hue and cry about the mudering of innocent children -abortion.do we now value animale life before human life? seems so, for the secular humanists doctine say we are to be worship as our own gods (small g). what has happened to us that we put our animals above our children? it says in Gods word that we were given dominion over the land and the animals the secular humanist give animals dominion over us. we have every right to use them for food, clothes, compainonship and sport. we have no right , however, to treat a fetus as human when we want the baby and not human when we dont. it is not a woman's right to choose. who gave her and the politicians the right which is God's alone. life begins at conception.

this bann is the result of the public not doing something so the gov. steps in and another law is enacted. most smoker could care less about INFLICTING their habit on others. my right to not smell smoke exceeds their right to smoke. i was at a local diner sitting at the counter eating a very good meal in the non-smoking section right next to the cash register. then comes a patron up to the register to pay for his meal blowing smoke everwhere and over my food-how gross. i have c.o.p.d (never smoked though) so his started up my coughing..that is why this smoking ban was needed because of people like him.so i dont want to hear wailing and gnashing of teeth obout this- you got what you deserved-mike meyer

i read with sadness about the shooting of the 16 year old.i close my eyes and i can see the confrontation. a young life with a future and a public servant sworn to protect and serve.shootings like this affect both side the rest of their lives. the parents of the teen shot have lost a son that is gone forever, and for the rest of thier lives wiill try to make sense of this.the off duty officer justified or not will live with this for the rest of her life.the family will think was he holding a gun on her and if he did why did he. what we dont need now is a. no outsiders like al sharpton coming her to stirr up emotions for his own agenda--B-family is upset but they need to be calm for the sake of the community. iknow this will be tough it would be tough for me in this situation-C-a complete investigation by a neautral third party.-my prayers are with the teens family and the officer- may God grant them peace-mike meyer in mt.vernon illinois
