My dad went to vote today. Guess what? He discovered that my mother was still a registered voter. Guess what? She died in March and my father called to have her removed in April. It never happened, she is still there!

Been awhile snce I posted anything. Busy summer here, kids are out of school, work is busy with people transitioning out to Whiteman all the time, looking for a job, and listening to good music.
Planning on going to Iowa in September. A friend of mine who is in the Army reserves is doing a benefit cncert for various military organizations in the name of his friend who passed away last year while serving in Afganistan. Should be a good show with good music!!

until something drastic happens to change everything.
My mother passed away on March 29, suddenly. It makes you think.....are you ever truly ready for what life throws at you? My dad had to take care of everything, one becasue he could not get life insurance on her because of her multiple sclerosis. So dad is paying for it out of his retirement savings which is not much.
So it brings me to my life. What can I do if anything, heaven forbid, happens to me? Well, hubby and I are discussing it. We want to go out and get our will accomplished and a trust made. We are also discussing our own funeral arrangements and making them now so that no one has to worry about it when something does happen. The only thing not decided on is the cemetery. I want to be laid to rest in JB and my husband doesn't.
I am writing letters to my children so that they have a piece of me that they can have and keep them going no matter their ages.
Life goes on, but losing a loved one close to you is hard.

Great. What does that mean? My receiver is not going to work anymore? Higher cost to subscribe? Or is it better in the long run.. I'm interested in High Def radio, but not enough to buy a new stereo for my car to listen to High Def music that doesn't even offer the Hair Music I so love to listen to!!
