So You Think You Can Dance

This was the first-ever season that I saw from beginning to end.  Well, about 95% of it, anyway; missed a night here and there.

Wonderful that Mr. Nigel's dance talent was showcased last night on the finale, as well as on this morning's news show.  However, let's see some of Mary Murphy's showcasing again from last night's show!  That lady can shake her fringe!  Nigel also choreographed a number the five top guys performed last night.

Don't know for sure how this season's contestants compared to the previous three seasons', but these people left me in absolute awe.  I'll never, ever cease to be amazed at what the human body can be trained and disciplined to do, whether in sports or dancing.  And Joshua, the winner, had done both (football and track and field) before deciding between sports and dancing.  My God, what a hoofer he is!

Some of the performances done throughout this season either brought tears or chills, and I was so happy with the judges' choices for those to be danced again last night.  I could have added one or two of my own favorites.

This show is definitely tops with me over "American Idol."  While the "...Dance" judges can be tough when necessary, they just seem to have more heart and more encouragement, especially as the top 20 start being whittled down.  Maybe it's all in the delivery of their criticisms.

Can hardly wait for season five...

I wouldn't mind watching that show if it weren't for that female judge with the enormously huge mouth! I can't go that woman! Why in God's name does she always have to scream to be heard? She's exactly what turns me off from the show. I know of other people who feel exactly as I do!

I agree about her screaming, it is extremely annoying!
I do catch the show whenever I can and I would much rather watch that than "American Idol".
I really wanted Twitch to win, but everyone including Joshua, is amazingly talented!
I envy the ways they can move their bodies!

I get a kick out of Mary (pardon my pun!). Who'd ever think, if one didn't already know she competed in ballroom dancing, that she was a ballroom dancer! I remember seeing her in competitions that would be aired on channel 9. One thing's for sure; not every dancer or couple earns that scream and her "hot tamale train"!

I enjoy the show and I think Joshua and Twitch should have been the two finalists, as they were, but Twitch should have won. They were both excellent, though. So was my other favorite, Will.

Mary is very annoying!!! The only way I can watch it is to hit the mute button when she screams. Why do they let her continuously do that. Even if it was funny or endearing, which it isn't, why do it over and over. I think she may have been told to chill out with it though, seems like she didn't do it quite as much this year. They need to stop it altogether though.
