My husband and I have been thinking about refinancing our house for a while sometime however we were hoping to get it fixed up to sell which still hasn't happened and I don't see it happening for at least a year or 2. Well anyway, I was wondering how it would effect the equity if we did refinance now and then were able to sell it next year. I thought I heard somewhere that if you refinance it you would need to wait at least 5 years to sell. Does anyone know? Thanks for the help!

I don't know about where you are located but I live in Madison County in IL and my husband found a dead pigeon in the alley behind our house today so I called the Health Department because this is the second dead bird that he has seen in about 3 weeks. He saw a dead dove in our backyard last time. He thought maybe a cat or dog had gotten ahold of the dove but then when he saw that pigeon today he was concerned and got me concerned too. So I called the health department and the lady that I spoke with told me that they do not test on pigeons only crows, cardinals, blue birds, etc. She told me that if I had anymore questions or found another bird that could be tested to call back and she would let me talk to the guy that I guess comes to get them. She also told me that with it being so hot it decomposes the birds faster so you would litreally have to see the bird drop over dead in order to get it for testing and then keep it cool until they could come and get it. Anyway, I saw your blog and it wouldn't allow for a comment to be added so I figured I would blog and let ya know what I was told. Hope this helps.
