Pelosi and the house go on  spring break  after passing their," Don't Protect America Act". Thank God it has no chance of passage in the senate. Democratics passed the bill even after secret session to remind them how successfull the surveillance had been in stopping terror plots.

It just goes on and on. They bash Bush but seem to forget for the last one and a half years they are the majority in the House and Senate.

I voted republican once in the past eight years for a president and look what it got me. I might be switching sides dude because its been quite an embarrassment. I vote for the candidate and McCain may have a shot but its too early. Are you one of these dudes on here that if we dont' have your views you think we are idiots?

I try not to call names. I will, however. tell ya when and how you are wrong.
This is for Bush Bashers. If the media reporters,Democratic leadership, and, movie makers, had said what they said about the president of the USA during WWII;they would have been arrested and spent the war in concentration camps;as they should have been during this war. During war when troops are in harms way---WHAT WE SAY ABOUT THE PRESIDENT WE SAY ABOUT THE COUNTRY.WHEN WE DRAG THE PRESIDENT DOWN WE DRAG THE COUNTRY DOWN. How else could we have a preacher God xxx America from the pulpit and have the congregation cheer. War is of and by itself an imoral and reprehencible act and the only reasonable excuse to have one is to WIN it.War is not a civilised act. We should not pretend it is and make rules to fight one. We should definately not carry peopaganda for the enemy.

Keep it up kdubken. I am only fifty years old and have lost my patience. Give them all the words and jabs you want. You can debate Liberals but will not get any further than when you try to club them on the head. I am sick of high taxes and social programs. The new healthcare for bums is enough for me. I support almost everything the Republican Party stands for. Give them Hell however you want. I do.

Isn't it fair to say though - what our president does with the United States he does to each of us. So who is doing the magnitude of the dragging? I'm just a fed up voter that is neither liberal or conservative just a normal American making a decent wage and sick and tired of the BS.

To biker2max Welcome to the club. I am pissed off at Government in general. I have paid 45% in taxes most of my life and am sick of it. The Democratic party favors the poor, and non working and I do not really like people and do not feel sorry for them. Republicans favor business and less for domestic issues. It is always easy for me to pick the party who is the lesser of an evil.

Heyya bubba...paying 45% in taxes is great. We pay between 38%-42% because we make the income to justify that. Unless you are being wrongfully taxed then that means your in a higher bracket. I'm on the fence for party lines and have qualms with both parties. I know some poor, non-working republicans too and some rich democrats so it goes both ways. I worry about the elections that hit us closer to home such as state, county, and even city levels. They can up your taxes quicker than the feds because theres let red tape.

Im self employed and that is an estimate depending on how my accountant can work things for that year. Remember it is Dems that promote more social issues and not Reps. One word about free healthcare is enough for me. I will never change my mind until a more conservative party can win. It is a two party system and one person can not go up against one or both parties.

You boys are out of my tax bracket.I cut and split firewood and there ain't much money in it. Most my life I followed construction work as a millwright and welder --cut wood cause I like to and it keeps me in shape. play poker and blackiack for a liveing, and I pay tax on all of it. I have lived in a lot more free of a country than I give my boys and that saddens me.

Do not be fooled kdubken, This year will be different for me as I am in the Real estate business. Even with slow years I pay a lot because I am self employed. If I want to keep any cash it hurts. I am semi retired and have a few more years before I get out of MO. I may have told you about Tennessee. The tax benefits are great there when you are retired.

Elect either either Hillary or Obama and they will consider you rich! When I add up all my taxes (federal, state, local, property) it sucks up 4-5 months of salary. It is the month of May before I see my own income. This will not get better under a Democtatic President. The Democrats play Robin Hood with those of us that work hard for their money.

Bubba understands socialism, those that take risk and work hard get penalized under the socialism plan. Make no mistake about it, the Democrats are proposing socialism, but they market this under a different name. If you want to get hurt the least vote for McCain.

The Democrats are proposing the same liberal economic plan that Jimmy Carter proposed back in the 70's. We all know how well that worked.

Me? rich? LOL I do have IRS by the short hairs though. All transactions I do are in cash. I pay tax because I want to and because it is fair for me to go by same rules as everyone else.----One correction-- Robin Hood stole from the government and gave back to the people. Billery and Bama steal from the people and give to the government. I said before he got the nomination I couldn't vote for McCain, but, then I remember voteing for Ross Parrot. Worst vote I ever cast. Fool me once shame on ya. Fool me twice shame on me. So McCain has my vote. As for the economy---We are in for some inflation because of oil price. To avoid stagflation we'll have to cut social security benefits, medicare, have no health care plan, have no tax rate hike, cut gas tax,and do away with earmarks. Duh, like that will happen.

I am a freedom loveing 70 yr old male conservetive political junkie. I am healthy, work when i want, play when I want, smoke too much, drink too much, and respect what other people want to do. If I were to have a by line it would be a warning. You may go to hell even if you don't believe in it. The pictures are 1 of me walking on water,and,1 of a hot tub spa deck I built last summer.
