       Over the past 100 years the climate of earth has warmed 1 degree.C.  Last year the earths climate cooled I degree C. Wiped out 100 years of global warming in 1 year. Must have been Bush who did it.  Actually, the climate has been cooling for the last 10 years so Bush inherited the trend from the Clinton administration. That is why Al Gore bobbaloo on the subject.

Is there really global warming? I somewhat agree with Chicken on the separation issue.

If being liberal is a mental disorder then call me crazy. Here's the kicker for the "other side" - I am also a conservative - so am I now crazier? It all depends on the situation. Conservative when dealing with certain things while totally liberal on other issues.

I know 3 things about climate change.----------#1 Weather will change as it has for a zillion years.----------------------------------------#2 Al Gore and his Global warming bunch can't do a damn thing about it.-----------------------#3 Whether I drive a pickup truck or a Ugo will make no difference at all.

kdubken: I like your #3 and totally agree. Just can't wait to see what the price of gas will be after the new barrel prices. I figure we'll see $3.49 a gallon by late March or early April.

Global warming is real .... and man did it .... so we must pay the price .... right? .... what a bunch of crap .... is there a way to take Al's nobel prize back? .... we could turn it into a carbon credit to make him feel better .......

My family got along pretty good with horse and wagon till was about 10 years old. Guess I can. you got it unk .I don't think a truck can run on a carbon credit.

The earth it's self is cooling and has been for a gazilliom years as volcanic action allows heat to come to the surface. This heat warms the atmosphere and disipates into space. The air temperature depends on how fast the the volcanic heat disapates.
If heat leaves earth quickly over 100s of years, earth's surface and air is cold. We have ice age conditions. If it leaves slowly earth's surface and air get warmer and the ice melts. Ice packs have been melting from the last ice age. They will start growing when we head into the next ice age.
