Has anyone noticed birds, or rather the absence of birds in the last couple days?

I re-filled my bird feeders a couple of days ago and I noticed that the usual number of birds had decreased. yesterday I was sitting outside with my husband and my mother and i asked my husband if he had noticed anything different with the birds since I re-filled the feeders and he said, " Yes, there aren't any". My mother said, " Do you think we're going to have an earthquake?"

Then after the quake this morning the first thing I noticed was the loud bird noise.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?
