They are helping to promote the "Free Kevin Johnson "campain.Giving out free T-shirts to help free a cop killer is about as low as you can go.

Here's their number  314-771-2236

Give them a call and let them know what you think about it.

These people would not speak to us about their position on camera...so we didn't do the story, not about to let them spew this stuff without being brave enough to put a face to the claim. The intelligent argument they gave me when I approached these three twenty-somethings was "go F*&K yourself" several times and "I didn't know leeaches could talk" It seems they were more interested in just being difficult and anti-establishment than getting their message out to the masses. But they do have a website and are giving out free t-shirts at the Black Bear Bakery on Cherokee. No one there would talk on camera saying they only allow these people to "hand" out thier t-shirts there. So basically they feel fine splashing their idea on the internet or in "alternative" newspapers but won't show their faces nor make an intelligent argument.

well this is one of those situations where going over the top might help.It is because of people like the ones that write blogs about saving a killer's life that needs this kind of response.

you know... i don't know about kevin johnsons case.

but I have been the victim of a law enforcement officer in a way that was most criminal and unconstitutional.

now I would die for the constitutional rights of another. we have put our emphasis on the warriors for good and not the rules of engagement.

i strongly warn of 1950's SOP's and the need for some of these small town midwest cops to change their modus operandi's...

it annoys me that we are so quick to convict and not look at the whole picture...

statueman,

before making your comments, you should look at the case. I, as a law enforcement officer, have been treated horribly by a white cop, and guess what.... i am white!

there are bad people in every profession (your included), but the majority of police are great.

post the 10 worse things that have happened to you in your life. after that, i will do the same (i've done this exercise before) and do you know what you will discover.... bad things happen to people of all color.

i can't tell you how many times i have been in line for service where the worker was black and it was my turn and a black person walks up and i am ignored and they are waited on. should i base all my relations with black people based on this? if i did, i would be guilty prejudice. yet i don't do that, because i realize one (or more) person's actions do not speak for an entire race.

and just because you were treated poorly by a cop doesn't mean it was because you are black (it could, but it could not be the reason).

there are a lot of people out there who are just ignorant, and their ignorant to EVERYONE.

You know, I'm not a big fan of every cop, as most I have known personally had big ego and authority problems and usually were the bullies in school. But I agree with the last post - some are good, some are jerks.

But no matter how big a jerk, an officer of the law does not deserve to die like this one did. And people support Kevin Johnson because they somehow think the police were bad? Kevin Johnson is the type of person who makes even the nastiest cop seem like an angel.

Taken logically to the next level, I guess it would be okay if some family or friend of the officer just barges into the courthouse and blows that little weak coward Johnson's head clean off. Why not, following that state of mind.

I'm glad you alerted me to this bakery. Maybe they'll learn that racism begets more racism, as I am sure they are hearing plenty on their phone lines these day!

Advice: Use Caller ID Blocking when calling these racists at Black Bear Bakery. Punch in #67 first, wait for the dial tone, THEN call 314-771-2236. You never know how these violent racists may respond. Probably something stereotypical?

I think it is *67 to block your number from being seen on the caller id. I have always felt that cops are out to get people...mainly speeding. I just feel if that 5 over isn't life threatening. But anyways the cop was killed and that was wrong. Anyone who kills someone needs to be put away.

This pic is what I like to call my happy place.I cant wait for spring to get in full bloom and get back up to the woods.Just sitting in the middle of all that nature really gives you time to think and reflect on things.I have had deer walk within ten feet of me while sitting in the woods, what a great feeling to be at one with nature.
