This will be updated through the night
(done) as I finish the images. I am working on two other shoots right now, but they should all be up by morning to help give you something beautiful to start your day with tomorrow.

I put them under the weather category, since we have the powers that be and the time of year to thank for such beauty.
Photos were once again taken with my little Canon SD1000
Trying to prove that the camera is just a tool and you do not have to spend anymore than $150 to $200.00 to get a decent everyday point and shoot digital camera and be able to get photos you will love.
More birds for you to enjoy...
We had that nice small snow storm hit us early Sunday morning, it was just beautiful outside at sunrise. I watched the birds for a bit since I was up, bad pain keeping me up, but it was worth it so I could enjoy a very beautiful morning.
Our resident Cardinal was defending his territory, seeing the two bright red birds flying around in all the fresh white powder was something I did not want to miss. After watching them for a bit I setup my camera. It was a rather drab morning light was, very flat and not bright at all, overall I am still happy with what I was able to capture.
Here is one image for now, the rest will follow later along with some shots of the Lunar Eclipse we had a on the 20th.

Something I have not uploaded for you all in a while, some nature photos. I set a glass candle plate in the snow and filled it with Thistle seeds, making it easier for the birds to find it and hoping to get few shots. I did not get the chance until the sun was going down, but I am going to try again tomorrow.
Until then, here is the male Cardinal that is always around the house, with two females usually as well.
Two new ones
Foggy river photos...(repost)

...sorry this post does not have any Eagles, but it does have some of my pieces from an outing last year. The day ended up being way to foggy to do much of anything dealing with the Eagles, however I did get some great shots.
The first one is just the river bank and lots of fog.....

This second image, well this shot or should I say shots (14 of them in all) is a lot more complicated.

(shot with
Canon 350D - SigmaXQ 135mm f/2.8 MF lens)
The above shot is the small version, you can see the larger image here -
Full Size - as I said in the description this is 14 separate images, all hand stitched together in Photoshop and then sent to the printers.
The print it's self is 8 foot long, yes 8 full feet and that is the small size at 6 inches tall. If I go to the full 12 inch print, you would be looking at a 16 foot long print, trying to get this 8 foot version mounted and framed is hard enough, as well as way too expensive at the moment, I could not imagine where I would even hang the 16 foot one.
I could not resist attempting this image, the fog was so unreal and having this island sticking out in the middle of the river like this was something I wanted to capture. Since this image is as much about the weather of the day as it is the landscape, this one goes under the Weather category.
As always....Enjoy!
(forgive me if I posted this one before)

Actually it is a storm brewing over Crescent Lake, you drive around most of this glacial made lake on your way to Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort.
Still hurting from the bone scan, not as bad now, but I cannot get to sleep at the moment due to the pain.
More from this series of images...
