This will be updated through the night (done) as I finish the images. I am working on two other shoots right now, but they should all be up by morning to help give you something beautiful to start your day with tomorrow.

I put them under the weather category, since we have the powers that be and the time of year to thank for such beauty.

Photos were once again taken with my little Canon SD1000

Trying to prove that the camera is just a tool and you do not have to spend anymore than $150 to $200.00 to get a decent everyday point and shoot digital camera and be able to get photos you will love.

Very well done and very well said. It's the eye, not the camera.
I help out with a project for low-income kids that does amazing things with inexpensive cameras:

Clyde - One of my favorite documentaries is 'Born Into Brothels' - http://www.kids-with-cameras.org/bornintobrothels/

As they put it 'A tribute to the resiliency of childhood and the restorative power of art' and it is so true, giving any child the means to express themselves will always bring out something amazing.

Gentle reminder about my trip to the Botanical Gardens coming up this month. I would like to see at least five people commit to this first 'class'. It will be very informal and I will be using the first few to give me a guide on what direction to take the classes in the future.

Thanks all, glad you enjoyed them.

I have lived in the St. Louis area pretty much all my life. Lived in a few other places, like New Orleans, but I always end up coming back home to the mid-west. I am a photographer and an avid bicyclist. I may not always be able to ride due to chronic pain from nerve damage in my lower spine, but it is what I love to do. I have had the pleasure of having my work hang at two group shows in a Chicago gallery. One of my favorite horror/dark artists was part of the show, Chad Michael Ward, having my work hang with his was a true honor for me. Recently I have started showing my work here in St. Louis, so far I have been part of four to date at The Koken Art Factory, Soulard Art Mart (SAM Gallery) and The Art COOP in the central west end. I am also starting to hold local photo classes, giving anyone that wants to learn how to either use their camera better, learn the basics of buying a good camera or find more information on how to improve their own photography skills. The classes will be held at places like The Missouri Botanical Gardens or The St. Louis Zoo. These classes/seminars will be conducted by myself along with some of my fellow photographer friends if needed and they will all be done free of charge. John W
