...sorry this post does not have any Eagles, but it does have some of my pieces from an outing last year. The day ended up being way to foggy to do much of anything dealing with the Eagles, however I did get some great shots.

The first one is just the river bank and lots of fog.....

This second image, well this shot or should I say shots (14 of them in all) is a lot more complicated.

(shot with Canon 350D - SigmaXQ 135mm f/2.8 MF lens)

The above shot is the small version, you can see the larger image here - Full Size - as I said in the description this is 14 separate images, all hand stitched together in Photoshop and then sent to the printers.

The print it's self is 8 foot long, yes 8 full feet and that is the small size at 6 inches tall. If I go to the full 12 inch print, you would be looking at a 16 foot long print, trying to get this 8 foot version mounted and framed is hard enough, as well as way too expensive at the moment, I could not imagine where I would even hang the 16 foot one.

I could not resist attempting this image, the fog was so unreal and having this island sticking out in the middle of the river like this was something I wanted to capture. Since this image is as much about the weather of the day as it is the landscape, this one goes under the Weather category.

As always....Enjoy!

(forgive me if I posted this one before)

I love your foggy photo. It reminds me of my trip to Virginia in May. No one told me that May is their rainy season and extremely foggy most of the time. I camped on the Blue Ridge Mt. to see the view. But all I ever saw was fog and the warning signs on the highway about the thick fog. What a disappointment. Fog can be pretty when it is the right time and it can be a nightmare at others.

Thanks for the pictures.

I have lived in the St. Louis area pretty much all my life. Lived in a few other places, like New Orleans, but I always end up coming back home to the mid-west. I am a photographer and an avid bicyclist. I may not always be able to ride due to chronic pain from nerve damage in my lower spine, but it is what I love to do. I have had the pleasure of having my work hang at two group shows in a Chicago gallery. One of my favorite horror/dark artists was part of the show, Chad Michael Ward, having my work hang with his was a true honor for me. Recently I have started showing my work here in St. Louis, so far I have been part of four to date at The Koken Art Factory, Soulard Art Mart (SAM Gallery) and The Art COOP in the central west end. I am also starting to hold local photo classes, giving anyone that wants to learn how to either use their camera better, learn the basics of buying a good camera or find more information on how to improve their own photography skills. The classes will be held at places like The Missouri Botanical Gardens or The St. Louis Zoo. These classes/seminars will be conducted by myself along with some of my fellow photographer friends if needed and they will all be done free of charge. John W
