I HAVE DECIDED TO BECOME A WRITE-IN  CANDIDATE.  HERE IS MY PLATFORM:
>
(1) 'Press 1 for English' is immediately banned. English is the official language; speak it or wait at the border until you  can.

(2) We will immediately go into a two year isolationist posture to straighten out the country's attitude.
NO imports, NO exports. We will use Wal-Mart's policy, 'If we ain't got it, you don't need it.'

(3) When imports are allowed, there will be a 100% import tax on them.

(4) All retired military personnel will be required to man one of our many  observation towers on the southern border (six month tour).  They will be under strict orders not to fire on SOUTHBOUND aliens.

(5) Social security will immediately return to its original state. If you didn't put nothing in, you ain't getting nothing out. The president nor any other politician will be able to touch it.

(6) Welfare - Checks will be handed out on Fridays at the end of the 40 hour school week AND the successful completion of urinalysis and a passing grade.

(7) Professional Athletes --Steroids - The FIRST time you check positive  you're banned for life.

(8) Crime - We will adopt the Turkish method, the first time you steal, you  lose your right hand. There is no more life sentence. If convicted, you will be put to death by the same method you chose for your victim: gun, knife, strangulation, etc.

(9) One export will be allowed: Wheat. The world needs to eat. A bushel of  wheat will be the exact price of a barrel of oil.

(10) All foreign aid using American taxpayer money will immediately cease, and the money
saved will pay off the national debt and ultimately lower taxes. When disasters occur around the world, we'll ask the American people if they want to donate to a disaster fund, and each citizen can make the decision  whether it's a worthy cause.

(11) The Pledge of Allegiance will be said every day at  school and every day in Congress.

(12) The National Anthem will be played at all appropriate ceremonies, sporting events, outings,  etc.

Sorry if I stepped on anyone's toes but a vote for me will get you better than  what you have, and better than what you're going to get.

Thanks for listening, and remember to write in my name on the ballot in November.
God Bless America !

 Just a Cute Little Joke!

A man died and went to heaven. As he stood in front of St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him.

He asked, 'What are all those clocks?'

St. Peter answered, 'Those are Lie-Clocks. Everyone on Earth has a
Lie-Clock.

Every time you lie the hands on your clock will move.'

'Oh,' said the man, 'whose clock is that?'

'That's Mother Teresa's. The hands have never moved, indicating
that she never told a lie.'

'Incredible,' said the man'. And whose clock is that one?'

St. Peter responded, 'That's Abraham Lincoln's clock. The hands
have moved twice, telling us that Abe told only two lies in his entire
life.'

'Where's Barack Obama's clock?' asked the man.

'Obama's clock is in Jesus' office.

He's using it as a ceiling fan.

Have you heard any cute little jokes lately.  Post them Here!

As a Company, Southwest Airlines is going to support 'Red Fridays.'

Last week I was in Atlanta , Georgia attending a conference. While I
Was in the airport, returning home, I heard several people behind me
Beginning to clap and cheer. I immediately turned around and witnessed
One of the greatest acts of patriotism I have ever seen.

Moving thru the terminal was a group of soldiers in their camos. As they
Began heading to their gate, everyone (well almost everyone)
was abruptly
To their feet with their hands waving and cheering.

When I saw the soldiers, probably 30-40 of them, being applauded and
Cheered for, it hit me. I'm not alone. I'm not the only red-blooded
American who still loves this country and supports our troops and their
Families.

Of course I immediately stopped and began clapping for these young
Unsung heroes who are putting their lives on the line everyday for us so
We can go to school, work and home without fear or reprisal.

Just when I thought I could not be more proud of my country or of our
Service men and women, a young girl, not more than 6 or 7 years old ran
Up to one of the male soldiers. He kneeled down and said 'hi.'

The little girl then asked him if he would give something to her daddy
For her.

The young ! soldier, who didn't look any older than maybe 22 himself,
Said he would try and what did she want to give to her daddy. Then
Suddenly the little girl grabbed the neck of this soldier, gave him the
Biggest hug she could muster and then kissed him on the cheek.

The mother of the little girl, who said her daughter's name was
Courtney, told the young soldier that her husband was a Marine and had
Been in Iraq for 11 months now. As the mom was explaining how much her
Daughter Courtney missed her father, the young soldier began to tear up .

When this temporarily single mom was done explaining her situation, all
Of the soldiers huddled together for a brief second. Then one of the
Other servicemen pulled out a military-looking walkie-talkie. They
Started playing with the device and talking back and forth on it.

After about 10-15 seconds of this, the young soldier walked back over to
Courtney, bent down and said this to her, 'I spoke to your daddy and he
Told me to give this to you.' He then hugged this little girl that he
Had just met and gave her a kiss on the cheek. He finished by saying
'your daddy told me to tell you that he loves you more than anything and
He is coming home very soon.'

The mom at this point was crying almost uncontrollably and as the young
Soldier stood to his feet, he saluted Courtney and her mom. I was
Standing no more than 6 feet away from this entire event.

As the soldiers began to leave, heading towards their gate, people
Resumed their applause. As I stood there applauding and looked around,
There were very few dry eyes, including my own. That young soldier in
One last act of selflessness, turned around and blew a kiss to Courtney
With a tear rolling down his cheek.

We need to remember everyday all of our soldiers and their families and
Thank God for them and their sacrifices. At the end of the day, it's
Good to be an American. !

RED FRIDAYS ----- Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing
Red every Friday. The reason? Americans who support our troops used to
Be called the 'silent majority'. We are no longer silent, and are
Voicing our love for God, country and home in record breaking numbers.

We are not organized, boisterous or over-bearing.. We get no liberal
Media coverage on TV, to reflect our message or our opinions. Many
Americans, like you, me and all our friends, simply want to recognize
That the vast majority of America supports our troops.

Our idea of showing solidarity and support for our troops with dignity
And respect starts this Friday -
and continues each and every Friday
Until the troops all come home, sending a deafening message that.. Every
Red-blooded American who supports our men and women afar will wear
Something red..

By word of mouth, press, TV -- let's make the United States on every
Friday a sea of red much like a homecoming football game in the
Bleachers.

If every one of us who loves this country will share this with
Acquaintances, co-workers, friends, and family. It will not be long before the
USA is covered in RED and it will let our troops know the
once 'silent' majority is on their side more than ever; certainly more
than the media lets on.

The first thing a soldier says when asked 'What can we do to make
things better for you?' is...We need your support and your prayers.

Let's get the word out and lead with class and dignity, by example; and
wear something red every Friday.

I received this in an email.

Ok, the blogs are slow lately so I thought I would take a stab at a bit of humor, please dont critize my wiriting, grammar etc...  just trying to have fun.

My eyes popped open fromt the sound of the TV blarring  and spousy saying" Happy Biirthday SweetY !  "OH NO, OH CRAP iT IS THAT DAY AGAIN ISN'T IT.  I told him, Im hungry, spousy says well I can take you out to eat or you can cook.

Grumbling and getting up to make my own birthday breakfast.  That would be two eggs over easy sausage enough for both of us and both dogs,  hash browns toast and  milk gravy for one.

Ok, kitchen is cleanned up now, spousy took dogs out to do their thing, and I check out the fox 2 blogs, darn nothing new.

I decide to check out the new excerise dvd I bought from Ebay last week.  Wow, that don't look like much fun.  spousy walks into office, Damn sure is hot out there!  Goody hmmmm maybe I will try this after I clean up.

Went in took my shower etc...  Dvd still playing, made bed.,  back to office, restart dvd to beginners version.   AND  One, two three four, wow this is tough, Cahterine Smith says and one more time, one two three four and one more, DAMN B^&^%H^ you said one more. My legs are killing me!   Stoping the tape.  I decided to shop on Amazon.com and find a new one for REAL beginners.   And to think 20 years ago I used to teach two of these classes a day.  Now I have no endurance at all!  Gotta start all over again.

Spousy comes back in again and apparently went to Wally world without me, hands me a box and a card.  Wow cute necklace and earring, no doubt its CZ but really cute.  Thanks sweetheart!

The hummers are flying around the feeder at the front window.  Now that I have the damn camera in place they are no where to be found, Thats about right.   Guess I'll go see if the house needs cleaned.  Of course it does, we are having our block party at the house next Saturday and everyting needs cleaned.  Wow too hot to clean.  Too hot to sit out side.  Dogs won't even stay out long, spoiled brats!!!    Spousy is damp mopping the hardwood, Cool! One less thing I have to do.

I put water on the dirt.  Spousy yelling your gonna kill it watering it now.  I tell him again that itt needs to  have mesh put around it.  Spousy says no mesh until to take care of me,  Damn it's  my Birthday not yours, I hate that damn grin of his.  I asked you for mesh 2 weeks ago.

Ok thats done, now I have to remake the bed again!  Damn!  I really hate doing things twice.

Spousy needs to go to town, think I'll go with him.

Where the heck is my youngest son, he stayed all nite with jingles last night and its almost one pm his cell is ringing but got his  voice mail  "call momma"  I tell it.

Ok, back home again, phone ringing, well, well, it's autozone youngest is at work  and will get off at 5p,m.  It's 2 now.  Where the heck is my grandson!

Where the HECK  is my grandson, they didnt bring him over last weekend  cause they were too tire from doing the carpentry thingy and making a living.

Phone rings, grandson on the way, bringing maw maw a cookie dough blizzard, cool!  My grandson gets out of truck covered in chocolate ice cream,  I am tickled and laughing, my eldest son gives me box of  brand new pots and pans, COOL! and a blizzrard.  sposy says you got her a chopping knife with that? Great! DIL(daughter in law) gives me a card, grandson hands me his ice cream and its melted so it lands on my wrist, i eat it,  hummmm good.  Grandson wants ice cream back so maw maw starts eating her blizzard.  hummm good.

OK, Here's my story.  One week before Christmas, my son approached me and said that his friend Florian who is a German Exchange student needed a place to stay for the second semester of school.  We had meet him once or twice and he had been to our home.  If he didnt get a new hosting family in seven days he would have to finish the school year in Germany  and drop out of the exchange student program. He is 16 and a great person.

My husband and I agreed to take in Florian for the second semester and he is now living in our home.

My problem is I think we are boring this poor kid to death.  We don't get out much in the cold part of the winter and my son works part time usually weekends.  I explained to Florian that we would probably not do very  much until it started warming up some but I feel really bad that he is here in this great Land and I have not showed hime any sites .  He has been to Grants farm, Hidden Valley Resort.  And the Exchange student program plans events once a month.  they will be going to the Science center and  a couple of museams in the next couple of months.

Should I worry too much about taking him paces now? Or just wait til it warms up?

What places would you suggest taking him,  remember I live in Southern Jefferson County  and keep the monetary issue in mind.

thanks

I really think this is a cool song and I hope you enjoy it.

YouTube - Diamond Rio: In God We Still Trust The main theme/message of the song is "in god we STILL trust" ... Diamond Rio: In God We Still Trust (more) Added: August 07, 2006 ...

If  only a small percentage of people  are non believers or atheist why has this become such an issue in our country.  We should all stand up and be counted .  How about some thoughts on this.
