Isn't voting for someone because of there color just as bad a voting against someone because of there color?

Voting for color is not intelligent. It may be politically correct, but not intelligent.

Un fortunalty politics is not about intelligence, it's about customer satisfaction. Is the american consumer ever satisfied? Nope! Americans don't make intelligent decisions they only decide what they think is best for their wallets, so they can spend more.

Republicans know what it takes. That's is why we now have Mr and Ms Oil Moguls running for pres and vice pres.

Yes. And no. Such a complex question can not have a simple asnwer. If color is the ONLY reason for voting for someone, then yes. Will some blacks vote for Obama just because he is black? Yes. Will some whites vote for McCain just because he is white. Yes. Are both equally stupid? Yes.

I have a question for YOU jsage. Why is color important? And do you really xpect someone to come on here and spew racist hate? That seems to be what you are fishing for.

Correction Mutatis--Polls are showing 92% of African Americans voting for BO. This is more than some. There is definately racism on both sides. The irony--maybe were not so diff. after all.

Correction on what? Doesn't the black community vote democratic most of the time anyways?

I think there are a lot of new register black voters this year. People that never voted before are voting this year just because there is a black man running for the presidency and that is sad.

I myself don't want either one of them. One is to old and the other is, I think not to be trusted.

Color should be of no importance. All week all that was heard was that Obama is the first back person to run for Pres.from a major party. If the party didn't think it was of any importance why did they keep saying it? I am not looking for racist remarks or do I want them.

If you are voting soley on a persons skin color, stay home and do not vote. You most likely are sorely misinformed on what our country is about. You do not know the issues and problems we face. Do us all a favor, pop another beer and yell at the television!

Good call Chief. People need to realize that the office of Presidnet is NOT the place for a social experiment. If it were Colin Powell then he'd have my vote in a minute. Don't vote for color but Character. Always remember, actions speak a lot louder than words.
