Dem's pro union?

How can the Dem's claim to be pro union when three of the last five Dem pres. did things to distroy unions. Trumen busted the mine workers strike. Kennedy all but busted the Teamsters union with deregulation of the trucking ind, Clinton put in NAFTA.

Are you are talking about the mistress of F.D.R. ,who sold her soul for a few dollars more and still keeps going back for more abuse...
You would think after giving birth to the Middle Class and senting her children to college,she would have some respect, but no, its in the rest home for her...
No visitors , no love .
Just accusations of being a bad parent..

It sad now that she is dying you wish someone , anyone would come to save her and bring back the good times.

Some make promises ,some will do it for pay,some for favors , but none just for you..

jsage.....you forget also that between EPA and OSHA, that government has made it damned near impossible for anybody to manufacture anything on our shores and to be competitive in doing so.

The more things they mandate in the name of 'caring' the more businesses and jobs that will be offshored to get around the onerous rules and regulations.

Pro Union - I am pro management/ownership giving a rats ass about their employees to the point of no middleman (money takers) needed.

When a union is involved under most circumstances all the members truly get is false job security. You've seen it in the automobile industry.

As for a certain party not liking unions - well, it'd probably be the white collar Republicans versus the Democrats.

By the time that Obama got through with the country there would be no unions left with the example of A.F.S.M.E. since most businesses, particularly manufacturing will be out of business and only government employment would be increasing.
