The Iraq war by stages.

Stage one: Force Iraq troops out of Kuwait. Mission accomplished

Stage two: Defeat the Iraq millitary and replace the goverment in Iraq. Mission accomplished

Stage three: Setup a elected goverment and stablize it. Looks like it is almost done.

Mistakes made along the way ,Yes. Is having another stable goverment in the middle east that favors the US worth It?

BO is a light-weight politician at best, and very dangerous to our Country. The comments that BO makes is dependent upon which crowd he is talking to!

Is the New Iraqi government stable???

When will they be able to "stand on their own two feet" and govern their own people??

Fairly stable and in most areas are governing their own people.

Is it worth it? Time will tell. If we don't get the liberal wing nuts out of the judiciary, state department, and, comgress it won't make any difference. The US of A will cease to exist as the beacon of freedom in the world. Our own constitution defined by libs is indeed becoming a suicide pact.

Anyone who thinks this Iraqi "democracy" will be stable for long is delufing themselves. It is such a perfect example of American arrogance to think we can change a country's way of life because we bomb them.

And, kdubken, I guess the country would be all better if it were run be conservative wing nuts, like you?

9 conservative judges.---------------------

Lets define liberal wing nuts:

Establish an energy policy that ensures high gas prices. No solution in sight, opposed to increasing oil supplies. Ensures more dependence on the Middle East.

Give terrorist more rights in this country, so that they will have access to our court system.

Never met a tax increase that they did not like!

Believe that they can appease our enemies, and they will simply go away.

The list goes on and on!!

The Iraqi Prime Minister himself said 'al Qaeda in Iraq is defeated'...now it's just mop up time...the Iraqis want stability and these foreign fighters(al-qaeda) out of their country...History footnote; the USA and UK were getting their butts kicked in 1942..can you imagine if we didn't fight til 1945? and just 'gave up'....Senator Reid(Benedict Arnold) needs to apologise to the American people for declaring 'defeat'...swine like that would have been strung up in WWII...

Had the Iraq war happened under WWII rules Most of the Democratics and a handful of Republicans in Congress would have their own private cells at GITMO. The objective was in WWII to protect America at all costs. If an American had uttered the words "FDR lied and people died" in 1940; he would have been severely chastised. That would have been after the lynching.

Good job on definition of lib wing nuts jimbob
Maybe we should define a conservative wing nut? "myself"
Roe vs Wade--Supreme court held that a mother has a right to privacy.
From that right to privacy they further held that a mother has the right to kill her unborn baby if she does it in private. A conservative wing nut like me doesn't believe that.
Supreme court ruled that habeas corpus apply to enemy soldiers. A wing nut like me doesn't believe that. I believe that an enemy soldier has a right to die and that is about it. If captured they should be treated humanely. If some of the men and women assigned as guards are a little kinky put collars on them and strip them naked and make fun of their wee wees then they should be punished under article 15. They should be fined 2/3ds pay reduced 1 pay grade for 6 months and reassigned to another unit.
A nut wing like me believes that combat unit commanders should be issued truth drugs. Captured enemy gets a shot or pill, gets a pretty good buzz, puts out reliable information with the least time and trouble. The prisoner could then be sent to a prison camp or shot as the situation would dictate.
A wing nut like me believes that if a Texas oil co can drill a producing oil well in the middle of a high school football field without interrupting a single game; it can drill a frozen desert wasteland with very little foot print.
A wing nut like me believes that the money I earn is mine not the government's.
A wing nut like me believes that when the constitution says The Congress shall make

kdubken read my blog
Jul 13, 2008 | 4:33 PM

The congress shall make no laws concerning religion does not mean congress shall make laws concerning religion.
A rusty old wing nut like me sees a people willing to trade their freedom, their culture and their right to self-determination for a government handout. I fear for the future of this great country.
If we are to survive we need to grow some gonads.

Right on kdubken

I am afraid that the Republican Party needs to grow some gonads. They are afraid to expose liberalism for what it really is. They are trying to go up the middle, rather than taking a firm stand.
