The Iraq war by stages.
Stage one: Force Iraq troops out of Kuwait. Mission accomplished
Stage two: Defeat the Iraq millitary and replace the goverment in Iraq. Mission accomplished
Stage three: Setup a elected goverment and stablize it. Looks like it is almost done.
Mistakes made along the way ,Yes. Is having another stable goverment in the middle east that favors the US worth It?

Phil Graham is right. The results are real. A slow down in the economy a up tick in unemployment. But the reason that he stated is right. We were talked into it. As the markets were reaching all time highs and unemployment was at records lows those that needed something to make poltical gains with started telling everybody that things were bad. When the consumer stops spending because they are told the economy is bad the economy gets bad.

The Dem's hate Medicare Advantage because it lets seniors use Federal Money to buy private health coverage. Even with over one out of five who are on medicare having joined up Obama and the Dem's in congress want to kill the program. The reason is because Advantages impressive growth is seeding a deeper private market. With the insures in competition with one another the benefits are more generous then the decrepit fee for service medicare. Why do they hate private companies?

the mistake Pres Bush is making is accepting a North Korean declaration about it's nuclear program. North Korea has consecutively broken every major agreement with the US since the North's creation. The fact that Obama supports the deal and said he intended to apply Bush's policy to other rogue states thus confirming the early start of the Obama adm. When will we learn?

Sen.Obama has changed his stance on the Spy Bill by voting for the domestic-spying laws last week. He has also come out for corporate tax cuts. Unlike before he has stated his suport for Isreal and a undivided Jerusalem. It also looks like he is changing his mind of Iraq. He told Iraq foreign minster Zebari that he wouldn't take any steps to jeopardize Iraq's recent security gainsand leave signicant number of troops in Iraq. He still wants to raise taxes on individuals but I guess you can't have everything.

There have been several reports in different mag's and newspapers on how the war in Iraq has turned to our favor. The latest is in the Mag The Economist." The American military surge that began a year ago has worked better then even the optimists had hoped." The War the Dem's said was we couldn't win now looks like we are winning. Another stable goverment in the middle east that favors the US. I wounder how the Dem's are going to spin that to make it look bad. The Economist doesn't favor the adm most of the time.
