Making travel easier, or placing the mark on us all?

Security in the world is taking our freedoms little by little.  Thanks to the need for higher security now, we are closer to the mark of the beast than we have ever been before, and biometric passport cards are just the start.  At one point people thought that we would have a chip or mark of the beast on our bodies, but thanks to biometrics, we have no need of a simple chip or mark, we are all marked from birth.

Are new passports the start of marking people?

New passports will no longer be issued as they have in the past, now a new electronic passport with biometrics will take the place of paper passports.

I 'm not an "end timer" but I do think that technology is leaching so deep into our personal lives that it's chipping away at our basic freedoms.  For now it's an electronic card that is required, but soon it could be your finger print, iris, or some other biological identifier that is required.

Is a simple passport the way it starts?  Then to make life safer and easier, they go to scan of your eye, fingers, face, or perhaps at some point a fast DNA scan to make it even easier?  Next, it's the financial systems that stop issuing cards and your biometric print is what allows you to purchase things.  No longer will money be needed, "remember it's for your own safety!  Simply walk up to a point of sale, the scanner looks at you, looks at your bank account and you either have the money and make the purchase, or you don't and your family goes hungry!"

Biometric identification and world wide databases could be just the start of the end for personal freedom.  It's like the typical drug dealer; slowly you become an addict, you don't notice it at first, but little by little your entire life eventually goes to hell.

Where do we draw the line?
When has technology gone to far?
Should we pass laws to protect us from biometric abuse?

I hate to burst the black bubble about having the first black president, but even if Obama wins he will not be the first black president.  He will be the first Mulatto president!

Sorry, but that's the "FACT"  ...  Don't blame me, I don't make the words up, I just look em up!

It will soon be time to pay personal property tax again.  Home owners who have been paying elevated taxes based on the housing boom will now have to continue paying the high tax even though the value of homes have dropped like a rock in the past three years.

I see this as unfair and taxation without representation.  The tax on homes have not been adjusted for the decline in the market, but I'm sure if the values went up 14% + you would see a rush to increase the tax home owners pay.

What do you think, should we contact our elected officials to force an across the board decrease in the amount of personal property tax we pay?

Remember, you are going to pay for it... errr ummm I mean you paid for it!

The color of discrimination in the United States of America is not black, white, yellow, or red, it’s green.  If you don’t have the green, you are discriminated against.

You can’t be bailed out if you’re not green.

You can’t get loans if you aren’t green.

If you're not green and do something wrong you will go to jail

The green people are taking over the United States of America and we stand by watching like cows on the way to the processing plant.

How fair is it that the average Joe is suffering while AIG green people take a trip?

How fair is it that banks that have made poor business decisions get bailed out while the average Joe is left to their own demise.

How fair is it that the average Joe who did nothing to bring this all on suffers, while the rich green people drive nice new cars and live in homes that the average Joe could never afford.

How fair is it that the average Joe will have to pay for this mess, while the rich green people will walk with no punishment for their evil deeds?

America sends money to countries that we don’t have to send.

America bails out rich people with money we don’t have to spend.

America sends food to countries with no payment for this valuable commodity.  Let them eat sand and oil and see just how much corn vs oil is worth to them then!

When are we going to start taking care of business at home first?

America, stand up!  Quite being lead around by the nose.  We all know what’s right and it’s time we made our leaders do the right thing for the average Joe.

Write, call, email, walk in to your leaders and demand that this rape of America stop now.

I am going to write my congress people and senator today, what about you?

Recently I was watching TV and found that with 100 channels, I couldn't find anything I wanted to watch. Sad, right!

What did I do? I went to my computer and decided to surf the Web for entertainment. As I surfed the Web, I found that there was a lot of sites with new and old television shows and free movies! I was delighted to see that some of my old and new favorite television shows and movies were free to watch. I sat for hours just watching and enjoying being my own programming manager.

There was so much available on the Web, that I finally decided to hook my computer to my Hi Res. TV. Now I watch what I want when I want too... Oh and even Fox 2's news feed is available to me...talke about a great deal! I get the shows and movies I want and the news from my computer on my television...If home entertainment gets any better, I don't know how!

Sure some of the sites want you to pay for content, but that is only fair. Still yet! There are so many free sites that I don't see myself paying for a long time to come. I will admit that quality on a "FEW" sites suffers, but on the majority of sites the quality is better than cable, dish, or braodcast television.

How did I find this? Google of course was a lot of help. Some of the search phrases I used were:

"watch full episodes of "the show you are looking for" online free.
Free television
Free movies
Watch television online free

As I fished around, I found that all of the main broadcasting companies had many programs that they offered free online too! These companies offered not only clips, but full episodes. One of my favorite new shows, "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader" seen here on Fox was available... I got to see shows that I had missed and some that were fun to watch again.

I hope you all enjoy this as much as I have! I'll blog a bit more on how the connection to my TV is going...and what equipment I am using later.
