yeah some eldery person got killed in the train wreck near Germantown, on a private road off Route 161

heard about it while checking my cell phone at work during my break.

there was a bad wreck on IL 127 south of Nashville this afternoon that killed one person as well. I been checking in on KFVS and WSIL on more information but I know about it was just north of the Washington/Perry County line and it involved a state trooper and 5 other vehicles. Only local traffic was being allowed on IL 127 south of Nashville and it will be like this throughout this evening.

One Dead in Wreck on Illinois 127

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ill. - One man is dead after a wreck Tuesday afternoon on southbound Illinois 127.

Ryan Rendleman, 22, a student at Southern Illinois University, died in the wreck after a tractor-trailer hit him at 1:27 p.m.

The crash happed near Posen Road near the Washington and Perry county line.

Rendleman, who was driving a Honda car, and two tractor-trailers were stopped by a flagman at a constructor zone.

Another tractor trailer driven by Kevin Morrison of Beecher City, Illinois hit Rendleman's car which pushed his car into the semi behind him and that semi into the other one.

All of the drivers were wearing their seatbelts. The truck drivers did not sustain injuries.

Illinois State Police are investigating the wreck and charges are pending.

I work with the girl who took care of them during the day, the man told her he was going out for a drive since he had a license and was able to drive she said ok, 30 min later he struck the on coming train,eveyone is just devastated especially her, it was just a tragedy.
