Are there any  groups anymore that excel in vocal harmonies?  I can think of a few old favorites,  such as CSN(Y),  Everly Brothers,  Beach Boys, Beatles, Queen, ....but  may be now missing something and need to be brought up-to-date.  There's just that certain "something" that makes them stand out.

I have trouble with that too... guess musical mind is hung up too much in the past. How about Simon and Garfunkel?

SwanSong, The Eagle's "Greatest Hits" 8-Track was always playing in my '71 Cuda. Did you guys get the Peaches crates from on Hampton-or was there another one?

mr_wild, my brother recently met with Big n Rich and their manager for dinner in Nashville discussing possibly touring together this year with a group my brother manages. We'll have to see what happens...
Swan, my ex managed a Streetside for a few years-you mighta run into each other at some point...He also managed the Record Exchange as well as CML (distributor) for years.
Also, the last turntable have owned was a Bang and Olufsen, but when needed a new stylus had to order it direct (but had connections since I was in Consumer Electronics buying) Where do you go now for any turntable parts???

I agree 100%. "Seven Bridges Road" has to be one of the best, if not THE best vocal harmonies of all time. I can remember sitting out in the boonies, looking up at the stars, listening to that song and feeling like I was in heaven.

I remember those times too trader...we would be out in the boonies on some old gravel road on top of a wooden bridge drinking beer and cranking it up when 7 bridges road came on...Miss those dayz!
