Did anyone catch Chalk Talk last night?  Just caught the last of it and they were discussing the possibility of Chris Pronger returning to the Blues next year (for the right amount of money).  Do you think this could happen?  After all, his wife is from here and his child was born here....and remember one reason he wanted to leave Edmonton  and ended up in Anaheim was because his wife was not happy in Edmonton.  Hmmm....

I hadn't heard this. Interesting. I would love for Pronger to return to St. Louis. I know it would make a lot of fans happy. Maybe then they would lay off Brewer. (Sidenote: I am so tired of people hating on Brewer because he was involved in the Chris Pronger trade. It's not his fault.)

Keep me posted!

I would love to see Pronger back in the Bluenote. That might mean Jackman would likely leave though.
It does seem like Brewer takes a lot of unfair criticism. Ironically I remember the same thing happening to Pronger when he was first traded here for Shanny.

Thanks for the input, guys! My nephew is a radio sportscaster in STL. I'll be talking to his family (if not him) this weekend, so'll let you know if he knows anything.

I would like to see Brewer go. He doesn't seem to play for the Blues like he did when he was an Oiler. As far as Prongs coming back, I think that would help the Blue line a lot! The Blues could def use him on the Powerplay. The Blues have come a long way. 100% better than last year..200% the year before.. They might be in a slump now, but I'm sure they can pull out of this! GO BLUES!

Why would you want him back? He was always in the box in the last minute of the game. He took the worst penalties ever. He was nothing more then an Ok defenseman. The reason he left Edmonton was due to a rather public affair that he had. No wonder why his wife wasnt happy.

Workingclasshero....Don't forget.... he was on the All-Star team multiple times, captain multiple times, won multiple trophies, on the Olympic team 3 years... Just think he could be a "spark" we need.

I agree with Workingclasshero. Pronger was always giving out cheap shots and ending up in the penalty box. I think the Blues are fine without him.

The only thing I wish was that they got someone better for him. Brewer has the talent, he is just a bust.
