A lot of people have been predicting the end of the world a long time ago. They predicted when the planes will hit Ground Zero on 9/11/01. But now they are predicting that the end of the world is going to be sometimes around 2013 or 2012. Do you really beleive that's going to happen...I hope not. I wonder what will really happen when it does...Will it be an atomic bomb or major earthquake, global warming, The great flood that lasted 40 days & 40 nights. Or what do u think it might be?? All we have to is get ready  cause u never know.

No one knows, but only God himself.

The Bible gives us signs of the last days, and they all have been fulfilled.

Next thing to come:
Rapture- All (and only) born again Christians will be caught up with Christ in the sky. -(to all the post-tribs and amillenials, there are a zillion scriptures to back this up)

Next will be 3 1/2 years of tribulation, about 1/3 of the world dies.

The next 3 1/2 years- The antichrist comes on the scene, kills another third. Plagues are poured out on man all throughout these times. The Jews finally believe in Christ, spread the gospel- 144,000 get saved (Jews).

After 7 years Christ comes back with all of us believers, kills the antichrist (sends him to hell), the beast and the false prophet are sent to the lake of fire. Christ reigns and rules on earth for a thousand years. At the end of that, Satan is let loose for a short time, battle of Gog and Magog happens, God Himself puts a stop to everything.

Judgement day is here: Time has stopped, Death and hell gave it's dead, the sea gives up it's dead. If your name is not written in the Lambs Book of Life, your doomed.

Eturnity starts here. Where you going to spend yours?

Nothing like what most think. I believe we are going to screw ourselves away from the dinner table.
Over population

We are all going to die..... We have been dying since the day we were born.... Why worry about it.... Enjoy the air and set good examples for your offspring......

Lunatics said the end of the world would be Jan, 1, 2000. They said it would happend at midnight. Of course, in their ignorance they didn't address the obvious question of "which time zone?"

I'd like to know who the THEY are that predicted the 9/11 attacks. Do you have a source? Also you say we have to "get ready". What do you mean by that? The only real thing you need to be ready for is your eternal salvation.

What rightwinger wrote: I concur.

Overpopulation? Please. No such thing. For every person born, someone dies. It's like pouring water into a jug that has a hole in the bottom, it's never going to fill up.

In China and India and the USA we do not have zero population growth.
In the US it is 1.7:1
In India it is 4:1
In China it is 4.7:1
More births than deaths. It has been that way for a long time.
In 1940 there were 3 billion people on Earth.
At this time there are 6.5 billion people on Earth.
Duh. It is the most likely scenario of the end. Not enough food. We are there in many places already. Or have you not been paying attention to what is going on in the world other than the US?

Apparently YOU haven't been out on the open road where there are MILLLLLLLLLLLLLLEEESSSSSS and miles of empty space. Perhaps the people crying "overcrowded" should move out of the cities where there is 1/2 square inch per person.

Perhaps it's YOU who needs to look AROUND you. Your main problem is that you think man is in control.

Or you could simply panic, hoard food and water spread the hysteria. THAT would fix things.

And I wouldn't worry about China too much. Their cure is to kill their own, so I'm sure they'll just start killing more. And soon, since they're weaning out Chinese females alltogether there won't be a Chinese woman for ANY of the Chinese men to be had, thus completely illiminating the race alltogher. Problem solved for them wouldn't you say?

Ok, taking into consideration the things that have been said already....

Assuming all the MILLLLLLLLLLLLEEEESSSSSSS of empty space are used for housing (to avoid over-population in city areas), an important question then becomes WHERE DO WE PLANT OUR CROPS?? Just wondering.

I am a farm boy. I know what land will grow crops and what land will not. Yes there is alot of open space. Deserts. Nothing edible will grow there, and people do not want to live there, except for the weirdos in the middle east or Arizona.
The areas that will grow edible crops are being developed for other purposes. Just in the USA alone we lose 3 million acres per year of farm land to development.
And the Chinese are killing each other off?
As a military man I know of many wars. Have never heard of a civil war or genocide in China. Look at their population growth. Seems to be plenty of women.
There have been in the past 6 months, food riots in India, Central America, Peru and Mexico. Why? Not enough farm land to support their population. Simple equation.
My info comes from CIA world facts. Yours seems to be pure speculation and thinking that God plays a hand in world events.
Did you not read my FACTS on world population growth? Your theory that for every person born a person dies holds as much water as your jug with the hole in the bottom.

The only hand that God plays is using his name to start wars. So maybe it will be religious zealots that kill us all off. In the hopes of speeding up judgement day.

mechany,

Since you come from a view point that man is in control over God I can just feel bad for you. Your god provides you with no security. My God not only created the universe, but He is in control over it.

Have fun panicking! Go read your "facts" and be hysterical. I'm going to go look at the creation while thanking the creator and read my book or REAL facts : )

Thank you Jesus!

Panicing? No, pragmatic. The only thing that makes me hysterical is George Carlin, with laughter that is.
Have I prepared for disaster? You bet your sweet bippy I have. No amount of prayer or faith in government services will allow me to survive a natural or man made disaster.
And I do not believe that man has control over God. I do believe man has used Gods name in vain for our own purposes many many times. And will continue to do so.
By all means, read the Holy Bible. It is the best moral guide ever written. But at the same time, be prepared for what can happen.

mechany,

If you only take the Bible as a moral guide, you have more to worry about than a natural or man made disaster!!
