Hi all.  Just a short post to update.  Misty and Kyle are recovering very well.  It's hard to believe that 2 weeks ago, I almost lost them.  This is going to be a wonderful Mother's day.  The only "setback" (if you even want to call it that) is that Misty was planning to get her catheter taken out Monday, and found out she has to wait another 2 weeks.  The Dr. said her bladder was so bad that it will need a month to heal.  I am putting a link on here to an article the Alton Telegraph (our local paper) did on Misty and Kyle.

Glad to hear Misty and Kyle are doing well. Mike, just hang in there, and as always, you have friends here that will help in some way if needed.

Hi guys! Thanks for all the Mother's Day wishes! Kyle went to his 2 week (can you believe it) Dr. appt. today and he is doing great!! Gaining weight like mad and is a very healthy baby. His Dr. will keep an eye on his blood to make sure things are regenerating like they should and keep track of volume, etc.

I am feeling pretty good except for this GARDEN HOSE stuck in my stomach! Each day the catheter becomes something bigger and better. It has now ranked the catagory of garden hose. Next week it'll be something on the lines of galvanized drainage pipe or something. Gosh, I cant wait till its out. It hurts!
Anyway, I am so thankful for all my blogging friends and their support and prayers. You guys are the best.

Well, I best go. For some silly reason typing and riding in the car make me dizzy.. LOL. Maybe my true self is coming out?? It's gotta be the new blood!!

Misty, Glad you are feeling better! You have been through so much, God definitely was with you and little Kyle. Please take it as easy as you can, I know it's hard, but you need to take care of yourself so you CAN take care of the kids.
