Harp and I were chatting this morning, and both noticed that blogs have been kinda dead. So we decided to start a blog of just pics of past fun times we have had. So, if you all have some pics you want to share when at functions or just with friends please feel free to add them. I know we have tons of fun pics over the past year. I think harp has a few also.

Trying to make a cold week ahead more fun.

Sue and I went to St. Louis this morning for her to appear in front of judge for her divorce hearing.  Divorce GRANTED!!!
Well, after the divorce, we headed to Barnes to visit Willie, Harp's mom.  She had neck surgery yesterday, and we told Harp that we would stop by to visit.  When we got there, she looked like she was sleeping, so I snapped a couple photos of her.  She must have heard us talking and told us to come in.  She was so excited to see us.  We brought her a card and a get well balloon.
Sue and I have to be in St. Louis again Thursday to see her doctor. (Hopefully she won't end up as Willie's roommate).   Once we get done with Sue's doc, we will go to Barnes again for another visit.
Sue wanted to title this...'What a Beautiful Day for a DIVORCE' ...inside are pics of our day.

What a wonderful way to end a weekend. Sue and I had decided to go out and purchase a smoker so we can smoke some tenderloins, fish, or whatever. We talked to Marley the other day and asked her to come over and have supper with us since Saturday was my birthday. She had to work Sat. but said she could come Sunday. Well, Marley showed up around 12:30, and had unloaded her truck of the items she had brought. She was here about 10 minutes, and Marley and I were in the kitchen talking when I happened to look out the front window and saw a red truck stopped out front. I took a good look, and yelled at Sue, JEANETTE AND TRUMAN are here. She said don't be kidding me. I said they are here. She ran out the door along with Marley following right behind. Boy, was that a surprise. Sue kept asking me how long I knew of this, and I told her that I had not talked to Jeanette all morning, and had no idea. It was a total shock for me also.
I had started the smoker up and had the hardest time getting the temperature up to where it was warm enough to cook the pork tenderloins.
Well anyway, Truman and I  got the smoker up to a temperature that was good enough to get the tenderloins done. Sue, Jeanette, and Marley went up town and got some side items, and ended up stopping by the D.Q. to get an ice cream cake.
Marley and Jeanette offered to peel and cut some apples, while I made the topping for the apple crisp. Thanks Marley and to her mom for the apples.
While we were waiting for supper, Sue got on line with who she thought was Harp, and it ended up being Willie. Sue asked guess who showed up, right after Marley. She said who, and Sue said they are in a red pickup truck. And that is when Willie said this "this is Willie"!!!
Who was it already?? And Sue said, they are from your area, and she said Jeanette and Truman?? Sue said yes, and she said "OH MY GOSH"!!
Then we had dinner; which everyone contributed to: Marley made Sweet Potatoes; Jeanette made Breaded Stewed Tomatoes; Truman and I made the pork loins; and I made some sauteed mushrooms and onions. It was all Very Good and Very filling!
Come on inside; and view some of the pics taken today.
Sue and I want to thank Truman & Jeanette for the surprise visit, and to thank Marley just for showing up. WE loves ya. Next time, hopefully POOFERS can make it up this way.

This blog is dedicated to my late wife Debra, who passed away 1 year ago Aug.29, 2007.  Debra was a lung transplant recipient who was doing so well, then when she was due to celebrate her 5th year as a recipient, she went into total lung rejection.

If anyone out in Blog Land would like to put pics of their late loved ones, be my guest.  I will be having another blog in Sept., to celebrate Debra's  birthday.

Inside the blog, I will have several pics of Debra celebrating her life after her transplant.
She wanted to live like she never lived before.
