Ok so I don't watch American Idol every week, but I did get a chance to watch it Tuesday. I also watched the results show tonight. I have to say that I was disappointed that Carly got booted.

But for fun since I found out next week is Neil Diamond week, how predictable are the contestants???

Here is what I predict they will sing next Tuesday night. What do you predict??? Leave me a comment and we will see who was closer to right.

Jason Castro - my first pick is Red Red Wine but he will do it UB40 style. My second pick for him would be Beautiful Rosie.

Brooke White - September Morn is my first pick or she may do He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

David Cook - Solitary Man is my first pick or Forever in Blue Jeans. lol

David A. - Girl You'll be a woman soon or He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

Syeisha M. will do You don't buy me flowers and I don't have a second pic for her.

They will probably open the show with Coming to America...or Sweet Caroline.

That is what I think...what do you think???

I was thinking about music and how I use it to teach and thought I would write a blog about it and get feedback.

I have taught all the kiddos in my daycare how to spell their names, learn their phone number, address, the abc's by putting it to a tune. It has worked with 100% sucess. So if you have a child that is learning important facts for school maybe you could try music.

There is so many cd's for math facts, presidents, etc. out there. I can give you some names of them if you are interested.

The new abc song is sang to Mary had a little lamb so that the l m n o p is all pronouced.

Where are they now? The 80's were full of them.

Joey Scarbury-  Believe It or Not

Toni Basil-Mickey

Waitresses - I Know What Boys Like

Nena 99 Luftballons

Jack Wagner All I Need

Twisted Sister We're Not Gonna Take It Patrick Swayze & Wendy Fraser - She's Like the Wind

These are some from my era. What and who are some from yours?

MTV launched its tv program in August of 1981. The original five MTV VJs in 1981 were Nina Blackwood, Mark Goodman, Alan Hunter, J.J. Jackson and Martha Quinn. In 2005, this group (except for J.J. Jackson, who died in 2004) became hosts on Sirius Satellite Radio.

I remember not being able to wait till my mom and dad left so my brother and I could run in and turn it on. All they listened to was Country and Gospel. I have to say I don't watch it anymore, but music in the 80's was the best.

What VJ was your favorite? What was your favorite video? What video did you get sick of watching over and over?
