I was asked a few months ago to go to a private screening of VeggieTales- Pirates Who Don"t Do Anything...
It comes out in 9 days and I highly recmmend it to all families. If your kids are wanting to go to the movies and you were worried about films that our out right now, no need to worry with this one.
I took all my kiddos ages, 15, 13, 11, 9 and 7 to see it. We all enjoyed it. It is the Pirates of the Carribean for young kiddos.
You can check it out here. http://www.veggiepirates.com/

Does anyone else go to this? My mother in law takes our kids every year. My husband said they used to go every year. Just wondering if it is in the plans for this year for anyone?
This is just a quick shout out to the people at FOX2 behind the scenes. I know I hear and listen to the news probably different than alot of people. This week, like Wednesday maybe even Tuesday, the script writers had to of had some fun. I am wondering if it was intended? Here is what I heard...
Weather and strong winds in DOGtown blew the BARK off the trees....I never laughed so hard. I was laughing and am still laughing when I think about it.
I find humor in everything...one of my quirks I guess.
Thanks for reading...and tell me a joke while you are at it or a really great pun!
There is a joke behind the title too....I will share it in the blog.

This post could go under entertainment, it was entertaining in more ways than one. It could go under traffic, because traffic was a nightmare but I would not put it under music, even though it is a blog about tonights performance of GREASE at the Muny.
Ok, where do I start. My hubby and I got tickets and headed to Forest Park, one of my favorite places in St Louis, the Muny to see GREASE. The night was gorgeous. It is one of the most romantic places to be on a summer night with your sweetheart. A nice breeze filled the theatre seating and the sunset was like a curtain for the performance. The show starts with the National Anthem and then the orchestra. The crowd laughed more than once at the roles played by Sandy and Danny. They could not sing. In all fairness I didn't think that John Travolta could sing very well either but this was bad. The last song "You better shape up" was really bad and it wasn't the only time that they sang bad. At first I thought they were trying to be funny. I loved the song Beauty School Drop Out and the guy playing that role was a good singer, he was silly at the end of the song but we liked the song. Over all it was a very enjoyable night even if I laughed alot. Is this suppose to be a spoof of GREASE? I have never seen the play GREASE so I wasn't sure. I have read a blog about the traffic and the Muny so I won't go into much detail except to say, it was over at 10:15ish and I got home at midnight and it is a 25 minute drive for me any other time.
Has anyone else seen it or planning to see it? Is it suppose to be that funny?

I was out to eat with some really good blogging friends tonight and I got a coffee afterwards. Right next to the coffee place, aka Starbucks, there is an ice cream place called Maggie Moo's OK first off the Moo made me smile, inside joke. Then I got to thinking there is a Baskin Robbins right around the corner, you know, home of like a 100 flavors. So, I was wondering where do you go for ice cream and what is your flavor?
I like Mint Chocolate Chip and the Ted Drewes Dottie. Also, Black Jack Cherry. Also, have you seen the prices on the neighborhood ice cream truck these days? What happened to the 50 cent bomb pop?

Where will they be next? Maybe they will show up in the homes of the viewers...Tim's cam cracks me up. He is always posing.
When will vlogging begin?
Who has a cam and would be willing to link up to FOX2?
I know that the bloggettes use them while in voice conferences. Just wondering if you use one and who is the farthest away person that you communicate with?
What do you eat?

I was asked the question "What are tradional St Louis foods?" by a doctor friend of mine in AZ. I thought I would get a wide, more broad view of St. Louis before I responded.
So, for all you St. Louisians, what are your eating tradions?

I was just wondering if anyone else has tried Meal Makers? My mother in law bought me a gift sertificate for Mothers day. Well I sent my hubby since I had to help my daughter finish her finals. He said it was awesome and affordable. We had one of the dishes he prepared last night and it was yummy. The asparagus was the best I have ever had.
If you have never tried it look it up here...

He went to the Arnold, Richardson Road location.

I wasn't sure if there is interest in this or not, but here is goes:
I seen that someone asked for pick comments and that is awesome. I was wondering if there is a way to tag blogs. I don't know how to explain what I mean, but there is so many blogs and I really do get lost in them sometimes. Is there a way to be able to have some sort of tag on them so that you know which ones you visited? Does that make sense. Does anyone else fall in here and comment and forget whom they commented? This is not a sign of old age...lol...just a sign of a thriving blog community.
