Gas Give Away

If you have been watched the price of gas at the pumps lately, you will see that it just keeps going up.

A local church with the vision to see global impact is hosting a gas buy down.  They wanted to do something to help their community.

If you live in or around Rolla, Mo. You will want to come to Mobile on the Run on Hwy 63, Friday April 25th starting at 3pm. CLC will not only be there to pump your gas for you but they are paying for 20 cents for every gallon.

lol wild you can turn your car off while you wait...and we will clean your windows and wash your car...lol

Sorry, My car does not burn "GAS", it's a diesel.

So how much gas will be wasted by people waiting an hour in line? Restarting your car over and over again is a great waste of gas too.

A much better idea would have been vouchers for fuel given to the NEEDY people only. People who are really financially suffering thanks to the gas prices.

Oh well, I guess its the thought that counts.

They did give $1000 away last week to NEEDY people. This weekend they are doing a different give away.
They are trying to do all that they can to help anyway they can in their community.

I am sure that the people that are going to be waiting in line are going to be people that do want to save some money. I would probably stay in line for the money but I bet a person that doesnt need the money isnt going to waste their time

Deeds speak louder than words. It is a great idea to help people.
I hope other groups take up this idea and maybe spread a little cheer every where.

What a great idea. If anything...you are showing your love of Jesus to all of these people! If just one really gets the reason you all are doing this, it will be worth it!
