Merrian Webster says this about a resolution and revolution.

Resolution 1: the act or process of resolving: as a: the act of analyzing a complex notion into simpler ones b: the act of answering : solving c: the act of determining

Revolution 2 a: a sudden, radical, or complete change  c: activity or movement designed to effect fundamental changes in the socioeconomic situation d: a fundamental change in the way of thinking about or visualizing something : a change of paradigm

January makes people think about change or new beginnings but I think about change daily. I don't mark on my calendar January 1st as my date to make things different. I know that this isn't for everyone and alot of you do make changes at the first of the year. It is my hope that you change them for good...not just a week, month or 3 months and then it drops off. I challenge you to look at it as a day to day change. One day at a time. We fall into slumps when we slip up on the commitment we made. We decide to just drop it when we fall once or twice...instead of picking back up and going on.

We need to change first the way we think about things...then from there resolve or determine to make it happen.

So in my mind a revolution is what we need before a resolution.

I always thought that Revolution and Revolve meant the same thing........

Many People think that the world should revolve around them......

revolve 1: to turn over at length in the mind : ponder
2 aobsolete : to cause to go round in an orbit b: rotate

I like the first definition here that states to turn over at length in the mind, ponder...
Not to cause to go round in orbit, especially around me. LOL
