Chocolate or blogs?

I came across a fun bit of research today.   A study of 6,000 women by BlogHer found that they would give up most of the niceties of live (sigh, including newspapers) to keep reading or writing blogs.

Except chocolate.  The sweet stuff is still the temptation of choice for the larger half of our population.  Say it ain't so, Blogettes.  My prose smeared by Hersheys?  At least newspapers beat Jim Beam.

The report says:


55%     would give up alcohol
50%     would give up their PDAs
42%     would give up their i-Pod
43%     would give up reading the newspaper or magazines
only     20% would give up chocolate

Chocolate gives us a high similiar to the high that Marijuana gives a person..... Just not as intense......

Why can't I do all. I know that wasn't the question.
I don't drink but occassional. So I could give that up easy.
I don't have a pda don't even know what they look like.
I don't have an Ipod.
I don't read much other than the blog's.
Eat very little chocolate .
But I do smoke and drink coffee,Not givin it up for my health so I know I wouldn't give it up for blogging.

The study didn't talk about men. But what do you think the guys would or would not give up to blog?

I probably would give up my TV if I could use the rest of the Internet as well as the blogs. I'm on a diet and had to give up beer, but I cheat once in awhile. I could never have chocolate or watch a football game again.

But I think I'd rather have my dog than a blog, even though that sounds like FreedomFree's choice.
