Music....it can make us happy, it can make us sad. It can get us through tough times when we feel down, it can make us crazy as hell before we head out for a night of partying with good friends! Whatever the case, music has true meaning to all of us and we all have our favorites that we can turn to to make us feel good.
My question to you is. If you could only have THREE cd's in your collection which ones could you just not do without? The ones that can pull you out of any mood and make you feel good. And secondly, what would be your favorite song off of each cd?
If you are long winded you can list more. I just chose three to keep it simple. This test will tell us a litlle bit about each other and can be used against you at the Blog-a-Que....hehe!
Have FUN!
Okay...my first blog. Does b l o g stand for anything in particular? First, be nice, I'm just giving my opinion and like another thing everybody has...this is mine!
I'm proud of my country! I'm proud to say I'm American! I'm proud to start up my Harley and head out to my union job each day! I'm proud to know that I work hard for what I own and proud of who I help in life! This help I am so proud of includes YOU! Yes you; my local auto manufacturers, restauranteers, hardware store owners, tradesmen (and women), public servants and all other real people that enrich my life and spend their hard earned dollars locally.
I always go out of my way and spend a little more money to do business with people that own businesses in my commuinity. These people live in my community, raise their children there, pay taxes there, give us choices on how and where we can help our communities and the American economy as a whole.
I have a Ford with 187,000 miles and it has been the best car I have ever owned. Hondas, Toyotas and rest of the foreign car line up have proven to be reliable and good quality cars. And yes, I agree it seems as though U.S. cars have been slow to catch up. But there are great quality and long lasting American cars out there and has been for a long time now.
Even though it is getting harder and harder to find pruducts made in the USA I refuse to just give in and go for the cheapest price on anything. I don't feel good about myself saving a dollar or two knowing that every time I buy a product made over seas that that item used to be made here by some Americans Daddy or Mom or Grandmother.
I don't knock anyone for surviving or saving a buck....all I ask is for you to sit back for a second and think about what the few dollars we save at these huge impersonal stores that stretch across our country are truly costing our local economies!
Just a thought for the day......Spend your money with your local businesses! These people are your friends and neighbors that live in and support your community! The money you spend with them begins and ends enriching the quality and security of life around you!
