I posted, The back door, last night, and today i am wondering if it was misunderstood? I have written of my faith and love for america at other times, but, listening to the town hall meeting i began to feel as though losing jobs that pay good wages and help support our local charities is not as terrible as we first thought. Now i ask you, how can that be? When good jobs are forever lost everyone suffers. If some jobs are created that ship products over seas, while robbing whole communities, not just individual families, and this continues unchecked for years, or, products are manufactured out of this country for a lower wage and little or no benefits for those people, let alone ours, how does this help america? The huge companies in this nation and others that trade off the backs of working individuals, will not feel the death grip that we will, because they get their money from alot of different sources.

When a neighborhood is called ,"a global community," then who is your neighbor? Cain asked, " am i my brothers keeper," and there was murder in his heart. I love my country, but does my country love me? Are we still united as one people? If your answer to me is yes, then I ask you, are you your brothers keeper? Would you pay a little higher price for an american made product so that america can be the strong and wonderful nation that i know she has always been? Look, you are paying a great price now. Nothing is cheap anymore unless you take for account the dollar. That doesn't seem to be worth much nowadays. I hope we will wash our face and stand together, with pride, and once again, put america and it's people first. We help everbody in the world. If they need aid, we go, in peace time or war, america is there. Now it's time to help ourselves so we can continue to help others as we always have. Let's put america back to work and keep america strong. God Bless her and her loving, open arms!!

I wonder how many americans have opened their eyes after a long nights sleep to find that their sleep has been corporately induced.Globalization may be wonderful for young americans who grew up taking for granted the american dream, but recently, that dream has become a nightmare! Go ahead and swallow another line america. That's just what they want. They'll tell you that manufacturing jobs are a thing of the past. The world is global and america must follow! I say, HOG WASH! Somebody is doing your job for very little money and you brilliant ones just keep on buying your own one way ticket to paradise. Go ahead bury your head in the sand, after all that does seem to be all the buzz these days. But just remember this. While everybody on wall street watches the bottom line, somebody forgot about the " BACK DOOR".

While we all slumber and sleep, a way of life for millions of americans is forever slipping away. It isn't that we can't stop it, but we won't stop it because that would require us to sit up,look behind us, and see who is at the back door. It's always easier to get in the back door because no one pays much attention to it. Now i know this sounds alittle strange, but so does the loss of thousands of good paying jobs and long welfare lines. Home foreclosures, car repossessions, food lines, poor health care and the list goes on and on.

OOPS!!  Somebody is at the door.  I wonder who that could be??

The other day i said, America would take care of her own, build better trucks and cars, and fight for the rights of all americans. Well, two days latter my husband got news that his company, Intergram, which makes the seats for Chrysler, will be closing. Now wouldn't you think this would dampen my patriot spirit? Well it doesn't !

I believe we are smarter than that. I believe in our young people that are the next generation of inventors. The next congress-man or congress-woman, Senators, or even President of these united states of America. They are husbands and wives, blue collar, white collar, entrepreneurs, poets, dreamers, and lovers of God, family and country.

We can and will do better than this. We are greater than the world at large believes. I am told that we live in a global world. Make no mistake about it, america is still the greatest force of good in the earth other than God. We will figure this all out. The one thing i believe will hurt us the most is losing our faith in God and travelling down the same old road of bigger goverment and big oil companies. We must find another way to fuel our world. If we don't, then every time someone doesn't like what we do or say, they will just pull the plug and our economy will be dashed to pieces over and over again! We must become completely free of dependence on foreign oil. As a matter of fact we need to be free of all dependence outside of this country. It isn't wrong to trade with others, but it is wrong for goverment to weaken its own people. To dash their hopes and dreams for a better future. How will we keep america strong if she is hopeless and broke?

Come on now, we are smarter than that. Aren't we????

For as long as i remember the  one name ,other than the name of Jesus, that always brought tears to my eyes, was the name of my great country, America! You see when i was growing up they always taught me about the greatness of this wonderful nation. I didn't hear all the negitive things about her until i was much older. All i ever knew about america was the goodness she had done. How she was founded on the belief that all men were created equal. That no one person or group of people was above the other.

I learned about our first president and how our goverment was formed. I learned respect for our flag and was very proud to be an american. Well, alot of time has passed since those days and we have been through alot of terrible times, but one thing remains constant. I love America and she is the greatest nation on earth!!

We have been through two world wars and 911. We've seen the flag burned and watched our economy fall apart. But there are some things we all need to remember about this great nation. For all the bad people like to point out, there is so much good. We are a people united for a single cause. To form a more perfect union, to stand head and shoulders above the rest. We have always rushed to the side a fallen friend, to the helpless and the hungry all over this world. America is a good nation. She is full of good works. With arms wide open, we have rescued millions! Oh beautiful, for spacious skies, for amber waves of grain. We seem to be having a bad time right now, but i believe in America! I know that no matter what comes her way, she is up to the task. She will build better trucks and cars, provide for her own, and always fight to keep us free! To all our service men and women, Thank you for all you are doing! God bless America and may freedom always ring!!!
