Remember Teen Idol Bobby Sherman,  some of you will not admit it, right, that was years ago, well, I was googling him on the image section, and he turned into a police officer/paremedic, and now teaches for his department the new recruits.....That's great.  At least he didn't wash up to shore like some of these guys, and became a drug addict, alcoholic has been.

 

Who's your favorite idol, and what is he/she doing now?

I don't have any favorites any more I use to love Leaf Garret and he turned in to a druggie.
Then I realy loved River Phonix and he became a druggie and died from a over dose..

From that day on I do not care to use actors as roll modles for my self or think of them as favorites..

All they do is let you down so my favorites are my parents...

I remember Bobby Sherman. Thats really cool what he's doing now. I use to like Greg from the Brady Bunch. Later on I found out he had an affair with Florence Henderson. Really all my favs back then was Jimi and Janis and they both died of OD's

Omg I'm embarrassed to say this. I was in love with Donny Osmond. I just thought he was the best thing since the Milkyway candy bar. As you know he's still in the business, and being a Mormon has 75 kids (jking) Anyway he was my very first concert that I went too. It was at the Kiel Opera house and from where I was sitting he looked like a white dot on the stage, but he was just wonderful. Oh to be 12 again.

David Cassidy....he was so cute! The Partridge Family episode with both David Cassidy and Bobby Sherman was the ultimate teeny bopper dream.

When I was probbaly 12 I liked Ralph Macchio!OMG cant believe I admitted it. I liked all the Outsiders... Matt Dillon, C Thomas Howell, Rob Lowe, Patrick Swayze... and so on.. When I got into my teens it was all about the long haired rockers!! Jon Bon Jovi ( who I gotta admit is aging well)..So many cant name them all. I talking like late 80s early 90s.

Can't think of any for myself other than the Beatles and Monkees (which I've met backstage at the Fox) but my sister, now 59, loved Frankie Avalon and Fabian. My daughter now 16 used to like Leonardo DiCaprio (from Titanic), NSYNC, Spice Girls 9she had all the dolls) and Britny. (among others.) Hey, Pops...I had dinner with Donny at Nino's in Westport before his concert at the Playhouse. It was when "Soldier of Love" came out ('88?) There were about 12 of us with him and he sat right across from me and his son "Don", then 9, sat next to me-I was supposed to be looking out for him (babysit). Next time I see you, you can touch a hand that touched Donny's hand LOL!

There are so many of them, I was bored yesterday and decided to google Bobby, and found out what he is doing today. Actually, I wanted to see if he was still "ALIVE"!!! HEE! HEE! It was a surprise to see not only he is, but that he has done well in different line of work.
