My job is mandating all employees to get flu shots this year, if they don't get them, they can end up in the unemployment line.  What do you think about this????

Last night while driving home from work around 3 AM, I noticed multiple cars with only the driver in it, with a TV on in the front seat, if driving with a cell phone is illegal, then why are these people allowed to drive down the street watching TV of all things.   This should be illegal also. 

I understand that they are going to have a golf benefit to help fray the cost for the paramedic's injuries  from the gun shot wound.  I don't understand why this does't come under workman's compensation, he was injured in the line of duty.  Plus, he should of have medical insurance.   Something just doesn't sound right with this.

Jim Edmund's was let go by the Padres today due to poor performance, and prior injury.  You know I think they did the wrong thing...if they would of waited until Mid summer, I bet he would be on hot as a firecracker.  Oh well, maybe some other team will pick him up.

Remember Teen Idol Bobby Sherman,  some of you will not admit it, right, that was years ago, well, I was googling him on the image section, and he turned into a police officer/paremedic, and now teaches for his department the new recruits.....That's great.  At least he didn't wash up to shore like some of these guys, and became a drug addict, alcoholic has been.

 

Who's your favorite idol, and what is he/she doing now?

I have this friend who somehow makes more money than me and she is on disabilty and works part-time, but yet doesn't ever have enough money to buy groceries or gas...I know with the economy the way it is it's hard, but today she comes over to my house to borrow $100.00 until next week....mind you every time she needs to take out a loan from her friends we usually have to wait several months before we get our money back.  I didn't like being put on the spot, I took her to the gas station and put $19.00 on my charge, and gave her some cash.

Every time I mention to her she needs to quit spending her money on things she doesn't need, like clothes...she has containers full of clothes that she never wears, but buys new ones all the time,  she says I know, but I want them. She needs to be saving for a rainy day, not out buying things she doesn't need.  It's like it goes in one ear and out the other. then she expects her friends to come through when she's out of money.  I for one am tired of it, and I told her so today.  She became very ticked off at me, so I know it may be a long while before I see my money again.

What would you do?????

 

Okay Dave, I watched the weather last night, and unless I dosed off, I didn't hear anything about any sleeting....I went outside a few minutes ago and low and behold, I have sleet on my car.  WTH!!!!

Yesterday, while doing errands I was making a left turn at the intersection of Euclid and Forest Park,  I had the green arrow, while I was trying to make my turn I had a bunch of walkers walking thru the crosswalk, so I had to stop to let them by, well, some jerk behind me didn't like the fact that I didn't mow down these walkers and let me know about it by honking loudly.  People even though we have a green arrow, if there are pedestrians we are suppose to let the pedestrians walk through,  don't get your panties in a bunch and start honking because I stopped,  my only other choice would have been to put several walkers into the hospital, and be arrested for running over a pedestrian.  I don't know about you, but I would rather stay out of jail. 

Whew...talk about Peppy Lepew!!!! Driving home from the area of Boyle East bound 40 there was a terrible smell in the air that last for at least 22 miles...What the heck was it????? Monsanto backed up again????

Okay, Ameren, major refineries, Laclede Gas, and the Government....hear this....we the people are not a ATM machine that you can continously drain.  We are not here to serve you, you are here to serve the people.  If you keep draining the ATM machine, one day you will find it is empty with no more will to give.  So in conclusiion, KEEP YOUR HANDS OUT OF MY POCKET!!!!  

While going thru youtube the other day I accidently clicked on these animations and it was hysterical....I think they are shown in Europe....I think they should migrate across the pond to the US, like the old Monty Python shows.

I say we the people have an election revolt by not voting for anyone who is currently in office this election year and is running for reelection....Reason 1) Gas Prices....are you tired of all talk and no action, will it's about time we show the government officials who put them in office in the first place, and who they need to answer too.   Reason 2) High utilitiy bills in Illinois....Reason 3) JUST BECAUSE IT"S TIME FOR A CHANGE!!!!!
