I took this picture Wed as we were heading out to spend the day  downtown.  We were hoping to head up W to 44, but W was already closed.  This is of Rockford Beach where I eat my lunch during the summer.  I guess it's a good thing the tables are chained down!!

This was taken at the same area during my lunch break on Thursday.  Around 1pm.

This is a pic on the other side of the bridge.  That farm is where we buy our mulch in the spring.  They have never evacuated, but they were being rescued when I took this picture.  The water was entering the house.

Here's my favorite lunch spot again!

I took this one in Cedar Hill off of 30.

And Sorry guys!  Our beloved Club Villa is flooded.   There's the bus almost on high ground!

Omm! I know Big River was high here also.It is down but still caouldn't cross our little bridge as it was off the bridge but still on concrete.Probably down today. But they have to check the bridge out an all before we cross it.I figured if we were backedup Club Villa would be since it is right on the river
Hope they got themselves and that piano out of there.Few months you will never know it flooded.

My husband and I have been married for 14 years, and have 3 boys. I work part time as a receptionist for a Chiropractor, and I have to say, I LOVE MY JOB! On my days off, I love hanging out at the river, and my new hobby fishing. I also sew on the side, odd jobs and such. I'm hoping to get back into crafting now that the kids are back in school.
