If you have a pocket full of pennies, you can deposit them at the red kettles and they will be put to good use.  Since vending machines at your workplace won't take them, drop them into the red kettles.  Here is a link of the places of where those red kettles are at so that you can recycle those pennies;

When you recycle your pennies by dropping them into the red kettles, the people that are needing help would count you as an "Idol".  Like as in "American Idol".

It is time that we remember those who are suffering from the hard economic times.  Time to say prayers each time we sit down at the dinner table and to pray for them even in church.  We should be thankful for what we have.  Some of those CEOs of big corporations sometimes care only about themselves and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Don't you hate it when people lie to you?  We all know that God loves us.  He created us.  But it is bad when we lie to people.  When we make a mistake, yes we do lie about it and we know it's wrong.  And there are times when we told the truth about our wrong doings.  Working in journalism, you have to tell the truth and you can't lie.  People do argue that it's a violation of free speech.  But however, we got to be careful.  Obey God's word and your reward is great in Heaven.

There is an old phraise my grandfather taught me many years ago.  And it's something we should all remember.  That is "Everything in moderation".  Some feel that greed is the key, but I say "NOT" to that.  It's best to at times. slow down and take it easy.  Otherwise, we are going to be running around, panting like puppy dogs.  We should be happy with the things we got.

God created us and he loves us.  I believe in God.  And I go to church.  He tells us that telling the truth is the best way to get things straightened out, etc.  But to lie is wrong.  There is a bible verse that I dearly love.  That is "For God so loved the world, He gave His only begottne Son to live and die for us.  He who believes in Him shall not parish, but shall have everlasting life."  John 3:16.  Reciting our favorite bible verses are good for us especially when we are down.

We know that when we go to court and the judge asks both the plantiff and the defendent "Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help me God".  Well telling the truth is much better than lying about things.  Sure we like to fantasize, but lying about stuff is not cool.  Some even say that when we lie, we are sinning against God.  And that's true.  When we sin against him by stealing and killing, we should be truthful by admiting to our wrong doings.  We should stop and think; "How would we feel if people lied to us?"  Before going around and accusing people of things, we should stop and think, is it really true on what happened, or is it we are just shooting the bull.

Who all remembers the Miss Cleo saga several years back?  I remember it well.   The network was a bad one due the owner really sinned against God!  She took what was supposed to be a gift from God which was a world of fantasy and used it for profit.  And what made it worse, is that she even lied about the whole thing.  At least when she dies, she will be going to hell due to that she never confessed to her wrong doings and never told the truth about it.  God only accepts people into heaven that is truthful and honest.  This is one reason why I am a non-believer in psychics.  I don't believe in fortune tellers either.  Being a psychic can be fun and is world of creativity and fantasy.  But DON'T EVER use it for profit!!!

Another person shot.  Now Meacham Park is going down the drain.  What is this world coming to?  Sheer stupidity??  Some people feel that they need to kill someone to get the point accross.  Well all that does is get that person into trouble.  We need to teach our kids that violence is not the way to handle it.  If violence is needed, it should be used as the LAST resort, and NOT the first.  People used to call me retarded for not believing in violence which is downright rude!  But those who did it did get in trouble for it.  People state that police are always slow in getting to the call.  But that is a lie.  Lets stop the violence.  Let God handle it.

I love Fox2 News because of the "You Paid for it" helping us to know who to vote for and who ought to be voted out of office. Transit oriented Development is like a big vacuum cleaner attachment to clean up the city. I feel that Call-a-Ride is Metro's second best mode of transportation along with the famous MetroLink. To ride Call-a-Ride, dial 534-1544 Monday thru Sunday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
