Deal or Dud- Best Consumer saver program on Fox2

 I love the "Deal or Dud" program on Fox2.  They seem to help out the little guy before making a purchace.  We all know that there are some dishonest citizens out there that do sales work and at this time of year when someone wants to buy gifts for a loved one or friend, we want our good citizens to end up with a Merry Christmas.

Some of the Deal or Duds are great....... Some of the products are pretty easy to see that they are going to turn out to be duds before they even test them......

That's true. But one thing is that I am glad that we have a program with Fox2 that does the testing so that when we go and make a purchace, we cut down the chances of messing up.

To understand this issue, you must first understand that the commercialization of Christmas is the biggest issue here.

Christmas is NOT... repeat.. NOT...! about buying things...!

The real DUD... is that you bring up this point at Christmas in the first place...!

There are always going to be dishonest citizens in our area. And the saying BUYER BEWARE...! is just plain and simple truth.

The great Deal here is, most people have enough common sense to see an idiot coming. Those that don't.. well.. lessons are learned through trail and error. That is how we gain Wisdom.

Through Wisdom comes understanding by which Christ, who's birth we celebrate at Christmas was trying to teach us.

The True Gift at Christmas is LOVE...!

If you can give that without any preconceived notions. Then and only then will you understand the true meaning of Christmas.

The true meaning of Christmas is the holiday set aside to remember the birth of Jesus Christ. I LOVE Fox2. And all the wonderful people here that God has created. Sooner or later, those who are dishonest can quickly find themselves in big trouble. I am blessed that He gave me so much talent to do many things such as run floor machines, and play such great music.

I agree with you about the Christmas Holiday being set aside to celebrate the birth of Christ.

But, the point is still, how we in our society have change it into a budget day, instead of a day of great thanks and celebration at a wonderful birth.

On the news we hear, Oh.. spending is down this year and store owners will not make there projected budgets unless we Spend..Spend..Spend...

So, the fact remains, Christmas has turned into a day of Buy... Buy... Buy... things you do not need to make others happy.

Where is the true meaning of Christmas... Not on Television, radio or in the newspaper. For they are pushing you to spend or buy something.

Maybe a day of prayer is just needed rather than a day of just expecting gifts.

Oh yes indeded! What I also do is instead of using lots and lots of $$$ to show my love, I use my talent. When I became a floor tech at the hospital, they thought that they have gotten the biggest Christmas present ever!
