How a local government will spend tax dollars.
Sunset Hills got what it wanted and convinced a population of 8500 to approve a sales tax increase called Proposition P. The monies collected were to be used for storm water projects and parks. If you drive through some of the older neighborhoods of Sunset Hills and have the time to stop, I ask you to notice that there are very few storm water inlets and most streets do not even have curbs. Most homes have trenches and gullies, some of which are 20 feet deep and as wide. So this government will use the money to build a pool and lazy river. How silly, because most of the residents already have a lazy river in their yards, of course you must wait till it rains.
THINK BEFORE YOU APPROVE A TAX INCREASE
